Geez, does this have a "Vick" feel to it, or what? BURNED?!

Well, we have to admit, the timing of Vick's sudden willingness to turn evidence, with the raid on DMX's home, bears strong hints of Vick ties to DMX. Now DMX's dogs appeared to be house pets, but there were three dogs buried, and one showed evidence of being burned--that's Vick-like.

More to be revealed.

I was happy to see that none other than Sheriff Joe was on the scene.

Sheriff Joe is my solution to a lot of the things wrong with this country.

He knows how to cut costs. No coffee, pink underwear. You gotta love him.

Maybe we need to treat musicians, artists, actors, and athletes with the same acountability as we do John Q. Public then they will realize they have to play by the "rules" of society. Why are they allowed such rap sheets and allowed to be OUT on the streets to begin with? Because they have been slapped on the hands instead of given real justice. Put the ones who deserve to BE in jail actually IN jail and leave them there!

Who the hell are they to walk our streets and rake in millions after they have proven themselves to be part of society we are trying to keep from gunning down our citizens in the streets? Maybe we should take a stand against gang members as a whole! Enact laws which say they cannot make a dime off their crimes by either singing about it, writing about it, or making movies about it! We do apply this to some felons already. Take it a huge step further and if you are found to be in a gang related crime (drug charges, weapons charges, or car jacking)...you are permanently stripped from monies acquired in the above mentioned ways. (Too bad we can't include athletes!)

The deal with Vick and now this tells me we are blindly allowing our children to "follow" gang bangers and the like as their "heros and role models" then we wonder why this generation has no moral compass.

I have several DMX albums (most of them sentimental from high school)and he raps a lot about dogs. When I told my husband about the pits getting taken from his house, my husband said, "Well, yeah, that's what his songs are about." I felt like an idiot because I didn't realize (or didn't pay close enough attention). :blushing: I just always really liked his voice and listening to him reminds of hanging out with one of my closest HS friends.

That sure speaks volumes! We should send that quote to the prosecution! They can call in the reporter that wrote it and hang him with his own words. Then again...I am sure they will have plenty to hang him with as it is.

Sure sounds to me like while rolling over on Vick, his name came up. I wonder how many more are going down with the Vick? I hope they take 'em all and hit them with every offense they can think of! Vick is getting off WAY too easy, but DMX is up against that rogue Sheriff! hehehe Good!!!

Well when you see their parents standing outside of the courthouse with signs that say "we support Vick," its easy to see why they have no moral compass.

One major record label has even gone so far as to market its own line of dog food—"Game Dog Professional"—complete with a picture of a fearsome, well-muscled pit bull on the bag.
