A heartfelt Thank You from the mods

  • #21
To be honest, I'm doing my very best NOT to post, unless I get on a tangent. The threads move so fast that I know that when/if I do post, it wont be read anyway. I applaud the mods for doing such a great job!

It will be interesting to see how the threads work out when the trial starts :)

MOO

I'm thinking that once the actual testimony starts, there won't be much time for O/T stuff from anyone except during sidebars and such. After all, at this point we all know the attorneys' routines by heart, which gives a lot of time for off-topic comments. That won't be the case during the trial. :)

ETA: After all....we'll be on PERRY TIME then!!! lol

Thanks Mods...not only for all you do here at WS but for recognizing the members of WS...that's just a really sweet thing to do!
Caylee's case is what brought me here to WS and I am happy to have all of you to share this time with. As sad as Caylee's case is, it's very humbling when you realize the sheer number of people from all over the world that this one little child has brought together. Amazing isn't it...Caylee Marie Anthony who never saw her 3rd birthday, has accomplished more with her short little life and untimely death, than many world leaders have in their entire lifetime.
I'm just so very happy to be a Websleuth with all of you :blowkiss:
Now whose turn is it to bring drinks or is there a tiki bar on the beach?

The mods ROCK for sure! And the poster's here are absolutely the best. I can't tell you how pleasant it is to be able to read everyone thoughts and opinions without all the derogatory name calling and the constant negative talk about people's clothing, hair, make up, weight etc. ...all which takes away what this is really about...so a huge thanks to Tricia and all the mods and the rocking posters/sleuthers.:great::yourock:

BBM...Same here. And it JUST occurred to me that my granddaughter...Kayleigh...is EXACTLY the age of Caylee when all this started going down (our Kayleigh's birthday is only 11 days before Caylee's). And I have literally become physically ill to think that anyone could harm a child at such an absolutely precious age (our Kayleigh is learning her abc's...complete with "h i j k Elmo p!") If someone DID harm Kayleigh...I would follow them all the way to hell to get my hands around their neck. And if it were my son who'd done it...I would have been the first in line to get him committed, because I would know without a doubt that he'd gone completely and totally insane.

Now I'VE gone O/T I guess...except the ONLY reason any of us are here is for Caylee...because her own family has forgotten, forsaken, and deserted her. And that absolutely breaks my heart clean in two.

Thanks to one and all!!

Mods and posters alike...keep on doing what you're doing 'cause it's what makes this place great.

PS- sidebars are killers (lol)...you never know when the audio will come back on and discussion will resume. I so very much appreciate all those who managed to stay online and post throughout the day/week...idle chatter and all!! It's helped keep me sane. :)

I have a few thoughts about this...humbly offered. It IS irritating to read 10 or 15 posts about thunder or lights out or feeds lost. But, as I read the several posts thanking mods, thanking AZ lawyer and other contributors for their legal input, and, now, thanking us, the active members...I think...that there is probably NO PERFECT SOLUTION to reduce redundant posts, and there is a great reason why. I think we have a bunch of active, committed people who really care about getting the info out to everyone AND who have come to feel, rightly so, important to the quality of this forum. I believe that we have an almost perfect thread on the "lawyers only" thread which serves a great purpose. I also know that we need threads that delineate discussions on a piece of evidence or on one concept.

That said, I choose to see the "live" threads with their redundant posts as evidence that this forums lives and breathes and evolves with every day. Wouldn't we hate to lose one poster who cares enough to put current info out to us. Live threads give a voice to all those who are actually living the moment and give us who are constantly refreshing great information at our fingertips.

I don't think we should try to limit the live threads (except for our own silly "going out for bread" life comments). I think we should all continue, JUST AS WE DO NOW, to try to do the best we can do to maintain a quality, accurate, and welcoming place where even us peons feel like we can add something to the conversation.

My piece is offered with great respect for all of you. Great place to live and read.

Thank you soooooooo much. My power went off the other day and yes I commented on our weather. :( It was irritating to me to miss one minute. I will sit on my hands the next time, but thank YOU for understanding. :)

I am so very pleased I found this forum 3 years ago and to date, I have not seen any other forum that comes close to Webslueths. That is due to all our members, especially, our Moderators. I can't say enough good about the Mods here. They are extremely fair, gives us ample warning when we get out of line. I have never had a t/o but have sure come close a few times!

This is just a very classy forum. This could have not been possible with out Tricia. She is just the most compassionate person I know of.

Adnoid and all the techies are always on top of any problems we have.

I have made so many friends (not imaginary! lol) as a few I have met in person.. My husband is also a member and he is always ready to go out and meet W/Ser's.

I am just so proud of our "little corner of the world" I love how our members really, really try to make newcomers welcome! You guys are amazing.

Looking forward to being with you all for the trial of the century!

I want to thank Tricia, the Mods and all of the Posters. Definitely now is NOT the time to get a time out! We have waited too long! Caylee brought me here, and Bless her Soul, we will see this through for her. Thank you all for being here and caring.

I'm very impressed with all of our members! It's such a blessing to be able to follow Caylee's case with all of you! :grouphug:

Thanks for making the Mod Squad look good!

:rose: Justice for Caylee!!! :rose:

I feel very fortunate to have this site to read, post, learn, laugh, cry and generally be part of a pretty good bunch of people. Even though, some of you do get under my skin from time to time. But I know you can't help it. lol

I especially want to thank those of you who post the various photos of darling Caylee throughout the threads. I know it's fashionable to post pics of Casey's day-to-day antics but seeing Caylee's photos is a highlight especially as we are in the final weeks toward justice.

As for the mods, I bow to your patience, your sense of fairness, your skills and ability to hover over us in trying times.

Thank you very much mods and remember: I've never had a time out and don't ever want one. The check is in the mail. :tyou:

I can imagine it now - loads of threads just saying.

OMG - did you hear that! Can you believe Baez just asked that question. Lots of THUDS. This case is going to have more highs n' lows than a roller coaster.

Oh and probably lots of this: :banghead:

Hugs,

Mel

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am so happy I found WS !

I have not been here very long ... "lurked" for a few months and have been posting since this January ... but I find WS to be the BEST forum on the web !

It is very "professional" and very "organized" -- all due to the HARD WORK of the MODS ! :great:

And the Posters here are great, intelligent, helpful ... and I love the fantastic humor posted here :floorlaugh: !

I wouldn't change a thing here !

Have a Great Day Everyone !

Hope

How sweet of you 'Beach, and all of the mods! I just love it here!

If we are being too good, just say the word - I'm sure we can spice it up a little. :giggle: :innocent:

:tyou: For all that you do! I know how much I appreciate being here!

Thank you Beach, all the other MODS, and of course Dear Tricia!

There is something really special going on here at WS. Good hearted people from all over are coming together to see justice done for victims who no longer have a voice. We are their voice. We are their hope for justice.
