The Don Lemon thread is an utter sh show!
A couple posters getting away with absolute cray cray
I am very confused about how to handle the Lemon thread, too.
What is the correct action to take when someone constantly buries the same opinion again and again. The poster is of the opinion that the person charged is guilty. This is not an invalid opinion; they are charged after all.
But instead of posting new reasons that they think the person charged is guilty, they just sneak that assumption into another sentence, and distract by using neutral words like "action" in quotes to give it a criminal vibe, or they post about irrelevant court cases and act like they are related to the thread and support their opinion. But, when asked, they won't explain the reasoning, they just change their vocabulary and use a new word in quotes.
So, responding seems repetitive, because it's the same thing over and over: "that's not relevant," and "your buried opinion is not any more supported with that irrelevant link."
And reporting? Well, we are being told to not abuse reporting and it is not clear what exactly is abusive.
So, I guess my question is, when someone is doing no more than repeating their opinion and not adding a new basis for it, what is the proper thing to do? Continue to respond, which is likewise repetitive, or report?
