A Royal example

Me too, mrsjonnob...me too! :woohoo: :blushing:

Ummm...yep...then it would have been pukey on my face and not a reflection!

Not being British, I am sure I don't understand how the Brits feel about the monarchy but I can tell ya that whatever William wants to spend on drink is up to him. He has had a month filled with publicity which he hates, his brother is leaving for a dangerous place and well, he is Prince William. Not an easy task to live up to IMO.

It is but I agree with Floh spending that amount of money on alcohol for one night is ridiculous-
Not as ridiculous as Katie Holmes spending a mill a yr on clothes- that takes the cake- she deserves fatboy if she thinks that's cool- I used to feel sorry for her until I heard that-

Is she Fergie and Andrew's daughter? How's the other one behaving?

I dont think they are acting any differently than the young people that live in America or Australia or anywhere else in the world, so, they let their hair down once in a while, good on them. Its just a shame the papparazzi are in their fact 24\7, I bet we have looked a bit worse for wear on occasions but we have the luxury of curling up in bed with a few panadol and no camera sticking in our face.

They are just young people going out for a good time.

She's actually a very beautiful young woman. With paparazzi flashes going off every millisecond, sooner or later one is going to be captured of her with her eyes at half-mast. They're not published though unless the British press is out to get someone, as in this case. A young woman out on the town - what's wrong with that?

After Diana died there were calls for the Royal family to be more "real" - to not be sitting in their ivory tower, and to start acting like normal human beings, albeit with a lot of money. And now that the younger generation is doing exactly that, they're getting picked on.

Zara and Harry are the best of the lot, but they are picked on mercilessly for being out of control. Ok, so Harry in the Nazi uniform was a bit much, but otherwise I think they act perfectly normally.

If I had the papparazzi in my face 24/7 I would have been burnt at the stake by now. Not that I have done anything illegal or absolutely crude or rude. But I have had a good time and enjoyed every minute of it, and one photo can be seen in very different ways, the truth is twisted to make a good story. As the saying goes dont believe in everything you read or see in the tabloids. Everyone is entitled to live and have a good time.:woohoo:

I try to avoid passing judgement on someone based on a snapshot. Beatrice looks perfectly normal in this photo other than the fact that one eye is half closed. I am willing to bet that every one of the posters on this forum have a photo of themselves looking totally sloshed due to a half closed eye (or eyes) even when they were totally sober and respectable at the time. I don't actually HAVE photos like that of myself since they went directly to the trash bin!! This is the first I have ever heard a report of bad behavior by Beatrice and I certainly would not trust this source on its story. I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt until I see further reports (and better documentation) of her actions.

As for the criticism of the British royal children, I have been appalled by some of the behavior of the princes in the past few years, but part of that is normal youthful exploits exaggerated by wealth and the relentless exploitation of the paparazzi and the public. At least both of the princes are actively and responsibly serving their nation and contributing to society as a whole. I am still waiting to see any sign of a positive contribution to society by America's current "royal" children -- the Bush girls -- who brought their own amount of shame to their family with drunken and disorderly behavior.

The picture of Beatrice is pretty crappy, lol, but I'm not ready to hate her because of a picture. For all we know the picture was doctored.
Like Cypros said, everyone has had at least one awful picture taken during their lifetime.

Only one.....Ive had hundreds taken:)
I know I am in some of those photos, wouldnt the media have fun with those if we were famous, but seeing we are mere peasants they are for our enjoyment only. hehehehe:waitasec:

wow.. I hadnt realized this group was so harsh.. I am actualy surprised at the amount of nasty comments. Dont get me wrong I dont have any love lost for those that party alot or behave badly in the public arena or for those in positions of power only provided by birth.
But for cripes sake folks.. keep in mind that regardless of "who" they are .. they are still you twentysomethings or teenagers who are doing the same thing many of those in less public or less wealty families do on a regular basis.. go out and have fun partying with friends. Maybe to a lesser expense but geez i would hate to see all the photos that were taken of me in college.
God forbid they actually act like normal kids and do what the commoners do...

Perfect post!!!

Beautiful pictures....BTW...what do folks from England think of the movie,
"The Queen" ?

Just curious....Lynie

Hi Lynie

I am in England and saw the movie 'The Queen' when it first came out. I thought it was ok but nothing spectacular, not sure why it won awards.

For me, the movie just confirmed everything we had read and seen in the media here about the Royal family............. cold, unsympathetic and arrogant, to name a few.
