I have to say this whole topic is strange. Unless Patsy had not had any sex at all before John she couldn't really blame it on him, could she? Doesn't the virus go undetected often?
Was John faithful to her? If he had an affair during his first marriage and add to that Patsy getting cancer and being sick for so long, I think he likely did look elsewhere for sex. Also he was away from home for long periods of time. To me that fits with the idea of his molesting JBR after his sexual relationship with Patsy became strained.

That scenario doesnt sit right with me....
I dont think the fact that a man is a cheating, lying, unfaithful louse...that it would follow that he began abusing his daughter once his needs werent being met...
Adulterers & pedophiles are not usually mentioned in the same breath....they are normally quite a different kettle of fish....

Of course, it isnt impossible.....but has there ever been any suggestion that JR was interested in children?

It seems to me that it would be more likely that he would seek out a mistress....the man was wealthy & powerful....I,m sure there would be no shortage of takers....

Then again....the fact that PR was trying to mold JBR into a miniature grown woman, may have some bearing.......maybe the visuals overcame his good sense!

In defense of cheating men (Never thought I would want to defend a cheating man, lol) I must say that I don't think being an adulterer has anything to do with being a pedophile. Those are apples and oranges, IMO. Someone who steps outside of their marriage is absolutely without a doubt, wrong wrong wrong. However, it doesn't mean they have sexual attractions to young children. Even if John's sexual relationship with Patsy was strained (do we know this?) it doesn't mean he was a pedophile.

Remember, no child or pedophilia has ever been linked to John Ramsey.

Seriously, you raise a good point. As I've often said, it's one thing to establish that JB had been abused prior to the night she was killed. (Which has been done to my satisfaction) It's another to say EXACTLY who did it. That's the thing, isn't it?
