They said they will tell me 2-3 weeks after it tapes. This weekend I have to go through pics of me and my sister growing up etc. Sigh...been a long time since I've done that.

I don't want to intrude or be rude but you've mentioned your sister was murdered I was wondering if it was similar to Travis? If you don't want to answer I'll respect your privacy but I've been curious.

What's weird is they contacted me about my sister's homicide while I was walking in to the courthouse for THIS trial having zero idea I was even having anything to do with this trial. Do do do do.........right?

I'm so sorry Katie for my post sounding so gleeful. I edited my post to say that I had no idea Ricki's show had anything to do with the loss of your sister when I wrote it. Thank you for being the classy lady that you are. :blowkiss:

It's ok...nothing to apologize for. I AM excited about this for many reasons and I'm sure it will break my heart on some levels. But my sister would love the fact I'm being flown to LA, picked up by a car service, put up in a 5 star hotel and getting to see one of my good friends who lives there now (who wrote THIS story: http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2005-01-13/news/katie-jordy-s-excellent-adventure/ -- we became friends after this project).

Beth said that's been on the schedule for quite some time. There was a conflict but then it got resolved but by then a juror had planned an out of town trip (good for them) so that bell couldn't unring. Works for ME (it's all about me right?) because I'm being flown to LA on Monday to tape the Ricki Lake show on Tuesday. Perfect timing.

Since you've asked my sister's murder or method of murder was very similar to Travis. SHe was stabbed nearly 30 times (I think I don't remember the number) and nearly decapitated.

Katiecoo- Did ya'all discuss the law of chastity comments by JA about "whoredom" and being "unclean" and does anyone have the sense of wether or not the Lisa Andrews 'mysterious' email will come in or not?

I discussed that with Stacy in our conversation about her being LDS ..she definitely thinks there is at least one Mormon on the jury esp from that question: Law of Attraction vs Law of Chastity. But no idea on the Lisa email..somehow I doubt it.

I think Nurmi passed if off because the judge gave him a talking to. At the sidebar before he turned it over to Mr. Juanderful, the judge was the most animated I have ever seen her. JMO.

Completely OT- I hope you'll all forgive me...

I have to tell you why I absolutely love calling Katiecoolady- "Katiecoo". I have a friend who's older sister had four boys but she was dying to have a girl- she convinced her hubby to give it one more shot (boy 4 previously had been the one more shot) and he said, okay!

Anyway- their fifth child ended up being a boy- he was the cutest, wildest boy of the bunch (and let me tell you all her boys were boy-boys; testosterone unbridled).

The littlest ones name was Kyle and we called him Kyliecoo.

I babysat him ONE time- he was in to everything and moved faster than I ever could have predicted. I walked in to the kitchen (that was open but next to the family room) for like 30 seconds and when I walked back out he was at the tippy top of their entertainment center (he was not quite 2). I was terrified and had a hard time getting him down -he was so strong and stubborn (cute as a button though)!

I had not one moment of rest, the entire 5 hours I babysat him, and after that I always found an excuse not to babysit!

My brother was stabbed one night with his own knife. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He left the hospital saying the nurses were laughing at his tattoos. He tried to walk home but was picked up by police thinking he was drunk. They took him to my mom's and she tried to let him sleep it off. When she was unable to wake him we realized he was in a coma. Fast forward six weeks later: we find out he was killed by antifreeze poisoning.

It never even made the newspapers.

I guess that started my interest in crimes. We still don't know whether he was murdered or committed suicide.

I keep TRYING to see you all, but at work I listen mostly, and can't keep up with the speed of this site on my cell phone to try figure out where the comment might be stating IF someone got in and what they're wearing.

I keep looking for KCL too, and was sure I saw her today (near the back row of the family's side), but she mentioned having her hair up, and I thought I saw her with her hair down and black framed glasses on.

I'm batting 1000.

I was on the left side (same side ja's family). Today I was directly behind Katie Dr Drew's Juror.

According to texts from my family I was seen chewing gum or writing notes.LOL!!
