I went and watched it on you tube and still couldn't find it. I think the sidebar was edited out.

You're very welcome.

Hmmm, that's tough, let me see.

CEO for sure, and the older men, Artist, Grandpa, Elderly man.
I think any of them will will be fine. They are all death penalty qualified, and I've not seen any indication they're not invested in the trial.

Sounds good! KCL said pretty much the same. I'm glad to hear they are all invested in the trial.

Thank you!:seeya:

from PASA's notes...

ja boohooing about looking for a husband, gals to my right laughing at her testimony.
Nurmi says to ja the age is 30 when LDS leave the singles ward, she corrects him with "31". She loves correcting Juan and her own attorneys.

Now isn't it strange that talking heads and Travis' friend discussed this the other night, about he needed to look for a wife--not Arias. Did Jodi turn thirty and need to get busy (at the time), no it was Travis--either she is watching the programs or her lawyers/friends feed her answers.
Jodi mirrors other people or steals their story for her web of deceit.

Omg guys...I've been bugging Janine Driver to,come to the trial via Facebook and she JUST wrote me about making plans to come...and sitting with me!! Persistence prevails! Unfortunately she didnt know Mon and tues are dark next week. But she's reaching out and making plans!!!! Tingles!!!!!

ja was 26-27, I think at the time she killed Travis.
You are so right, she mirrors others because she has no personality of her own. I believe she was parroting Travis and whatever he was doing, she had to do as well.

As far as I know the LDS church accepts single and married people alike. I think when young adults turn 30 they move from the singles (young people) ward to the adult ward.

OMG! I am so happy for you, how cool is that? Did she indicate how long she'll be able to attend court with you?

Waking up, then on with court notes from Thursday. :)

She's a court watcher who appeared on Dr. Drew w/ Katie tonite (and has other nights). She's serious about this trial, lives in Mesa, has a whole bunch of kids and is LDS. And she's really nice and pretty. That's about all I got there. :seeya: Oh and she said we had the same brain as we both wrote "Perry Mason Moment" in our notes at the same time today. :rocker:

Has this been answered?

The camera was dropped close to the shower. She immediately ran and that whole story.

**How did the camera get from the fall position to the picture where she is dragging Travis?

I think I read somewhere that Nurmi tried to get taken off the case but the court wouldn't allow him to. Is that right? So he's just stuck with her whether he wants to be or not?? Thanks in advance.

That's right. (Don't have the link at hand atm, sorry.) He quit as a Public Defender--wants to open his own private business--but they wouldn't let him quit this case. As recompense, they're paying him a private rate of $225.00 an hour. Maybe that explains why he speaks so slowly?

God that's a good question...I'll ask her anything and everything I, you, any of us can think of! And take notes! lol ANd the Happy Hour is just a *given*. We just need to whisk her out before the nuts get their claws in her, right PASA? And PASA it's not optional for you to be there the day (s) she comes. Got it? ;)

I still believe she is doing that on purpose because she wants to jury to see (pointed toward them) how her hand drapes over the cup just like the photo of her sister and it emphasizes, reminds jury there is no bend in her ring finger like that photo. I haven't seen one time where she has picked up that cup with her right hand. I drink with both as I'm sure most of do from time to time..

Love your earrings katie! I have the same pair!
Am I the only one wishin these next few days will go by fast?
Have y'all noticed that when Martinez takes a little longer to question JA the talking heads complain? Blah blah blah But when nurmi slowwwwlyyyy drags his tail! With his monotonous slow monotone questioning! You hear no complaints! From talking heads! Grrrrrr
They don't criticise. Nurmi ! not that they should do that to Him
but they go out of their way to critique! Juan throwing in their two cents worth saying! they would do or say! It differently !! hello JEALOUSY
Makes me agitated! With jm they even go as far as grading him on his performance?
Juan is rocking it! He does in five minutes what it took nurmi five hrs to say!

I strongly believe ! Jodi will argue with The Lord on judgement day!
That's one court she will face sooner or later!
If she gets the needle I hope on that day of execution ! The family
Will stand up and wave :seeya::seeya::seeya::seeya::seeya::seeya:
To JA ! See ya wouldn't wanna be ya !! :seeya:

WINNING!!!

Jodi could argue the bark off a tree!:floorlaugh:

OMG, that is so funny! He's making $3.75 a minute. That works out to about a sentence for him. Seriously, the funnest thing I've read today!

Katiecoolady, what do you make of Juan leaving us hanging after asking Jodi if she had a GPS on that rental car? I think he's setting her up with something regarding that question. Could that be part of the "something big to come?" He got her locked in on her answer, and then dropped it. She claims she went the wrong way for 100 miles, and I believe he's going to prove she did have a GPS, whether from the rental car company or she had her own. Either way, she is still lying to the jury. I wish I had kept up with this case earlier, because I want to tie Jodi to going back to Matt M's house. I think he's involved in this more than we know.

I think that GPS thing is interesting also. I believe it's going somewhere, just not sure where. I know he has lots of other info to impeach her on, not that he needs it but it's there.

I also think we've not heard the last of Matt M. I wonder if either side will call him....

Afternoon Break--
I see KatieCooLady out in the hall, we head to the powder room. ja's mom coming out as we go in. There's a line, as always, and we chat while we wait our turn.

Back inside the courtroom I take my seat, look over at KCL and we smile and wave to one another.
Mike, our favorite court reporter takes his seat as we get ready for court to resume.
Wilmott and the Mitigation Specialist are having a BFF chat. Juan is up at the bench chatting with the clerk (he's all business inside the courtroom). I notice detective Flores isn't in the courtroom.
Showtime -- All rise.
Judge Stephens takes the bench. We sit. Judge says "Miss Arias please take the stand".
She shuffles as she makes her way to the stand. Once she is seated and has her glasses on, we hear a familiar phrase "Please stand for the jury". I try to see if Ponytail is wearing the unusual platform shoes KCL mentioned. She's not wearing them today. :)

We are told no court until Wednesday. A scheduling conflict with one of the jurors. I'm ok with it. Gives me a chance to catch up on real life while this trial is dark.

Can't get a good read on GG (Glamour Gal). She's stand-offish to everyone except GW.
I'm beginning to wonder if she believes ja's story. She checks her make-up while in the courtroom. :)

ja and Mit. Spec. are matchy-matchy today with their maroon red blouses. Guess Wilmott didn't get the wardrobe memo. :)

There's a person I fee is "trouble". She's been attending the past 2 days. Others have had concerns as well. In my notes I write: 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 staring at me, she's a mean one, ja's sista.
Mit Spec comes over and speaks to ja's mother during the side bar. ja looks straight ahead, never towards her mother.
I notice the people who complained about where they were seated after lunch are sitting towards the front after the break. My thoughts, this is not a sporting event, it's a serious murder trial, be respectful of that.

Nurmi mentions to ja "You were a budding professional photographer". I want to scream!
I'm an amateur but at least I've had a photo or two published. LOL!
Another sore spot (for me) is she said the photos couldn't be recovered by just anyone, and it would cost a lot of money. I know that is BS, I've done it and I'm no pro. ... I'm afraid I'll have a serious case of pseudo bulbar affect if this keeps up. :)

I look over at the ladies to my right and we're all mouthing bull sh... as ja testifies about the camera/photography carp.

Nurmi puts up the tub photo and asks where the camera landed. I notice T's body in the shower. I hope the family didn't see it, but how could they not. I feel sadness for what they are having to go through.
I wish Nurmi had moved the photo over just a bit so that T's body wouldn't be visable.
Jury more attentive during gun placement and camera talk, finally something worth listening to.
I notice when Juan objects it's not as loud and forceful as it seems on the feed. Nurmi is just the opposite, his voice carries and is much more robust inside the courtroom.

I look over at the prosecution table and see Mr. Martinez and Detective Flores with their heads together whispering during Nurmi's questioning of ja. I don't recall seeing them in conversation at the prosecution table before, at least not like this. Little did I know what was to come. :)

ja's talking about shaking and how she hides it while on the stand. My hinky meter is pegged to the max while she testifies.
Ladies to my right are giggling and shaking their heads at ja's testimony. I wonder if they've already been afflicted with Pseudo Bulbar Affect (PBA). :)

Jury has heard it all before, body language changes. I see some looking down, a few looking at Nurmi, a couple taking notes, and Nancy still enjoying her Iced Venti Latte from Starbuck's. :)

Nurmi says "I have nothing further your honor". What?? He's finally finished... The sighs are audible, as are a few "yays".

Next Post: Juan's turn

I've got a husband home today so will do my best to get the next installment up sometime today. I estimate I have 2 more. The rest of court session and happy hour.

Forgot to say how much I enjoy your posts! I stay up way too late on court nights just to read what you write. Thanks for doing that!
