Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Thank you for all you do to inform us of what you observe in the courtroom

YW, I'm happy to answer questions if I can help.
I have been having a nagging thought that I would like to throw out there for anyone to comment on that has been inside the jury room.
This trial has been so long and there has been lots of detail in the testimony. I am concerned that the jurors could have lost some of the detail because of this. I know that for myself there has been so much pointed out and discussed by fellow sleuthers here on the forum that I missed from testimony. What concerns me is that the jurors do not have the benefit of discussion from other people.. They don't have other opinions and other interpretations of evidence that could have been missed by them.
E.g. the fact that it was implied JA and TA had sex all day long on June 4th. But, thru discussion amongst WS members I am totally convinced they did not. But, what if a juror believes they did just based on the pictures and JA's direct. I know this is a discombobulated post but I hope someone can understand what I am saying and help me out. We have had at some point 3 or 4 hundred people on the forum and have had the benefit of all that information and discussion. In short I wish the jurors did too. jmo
I'm not worried. Juan will tie up loose ends. Once they are in deliberations they will be able to discuss the case. I see it like a mini WS gathering.

They all have notebooks to take notes. One person who doesn't know about guns will be informed by someone who does and so on.
My husband said when he was on a jury they were told if they needed any testimony read back or exhibits they would have access to them if needed.
It was an Arizona trial, so I'm thinking the same will apply to this case except the Power Point presentation. The jury had special instructions it would not be available during deliberations.
I know it's a lot of information to digest, especially with ja on the stand blabbering on for days on end.
I hope they remember that as well and I hope they think about the gun shot, but also I hope they don't lose sight of the 29 stabbings, and that TA was almost decapitated. I don't think they have heard enough of that. Just wish it was over. jmo
I don't feel the jury has lost sight of what ja has done to Travis. It's a long trial with a lot of exhibits, and some BSers on the stand. But in the end I think they know what's important. She murdered him, not a self-defense case.
I've not been in the court room but.. The Jurors do have notebooks that they've been taking notes in to refer back to from all the testimony, testiphony & sextimoany!
Also they are not allowed to talk with others about the case while trial is ongoing but in deliberations they'll be in a room together. Then able to bounce information off each other, remind each other of different parts of evidence etc from their notes. Even though right now it's like they're taking SATs eyes on your own papers in deliberations why it'll be like a real life WS Thread
PS: They will also have fresh memory of what I'm sure will be JM's detailed summary of what the State believes (most likely truth) of what happened that day & why it's their responsibility to find her GUILTY in the 1st with DP! JMO
Sextamoany! LOL!! My new favorite word for the carp ja spewed on the stand for almost 3 weeks.

That's a good one. :floorlaugh:
Great post, I feel the same re: the deliberations.
It's from body language expert (and Katiecoolady bud)Janine Driver. Here's a quote from the Dr. Drew show "JANINE DRIVER, BODY LANGUAGE EXPERT: I would love to know if your jury is -- what`s going on with --
I call this naval intelligence. We face our belly button towards people we like, admire, and trust.
And I wish I was on the jury because I want to know, is the jury angled towards Jodi Arias? Do they have the core of the body angled towards her or do they have the legs closes to her, crossed on top, angling away, giving her, Dr. Drew, what we call the cold shoulder in my world?
So, this is naval intelligence. What`s your naval intelligence, jury? Are there belly buttons facing and angling Jodi Arias? Are they angling more towards Martinez?"

I didn't see any naval intelligence towards ja when she was on the stand. I saw it when the psychologist was on yesterday. It wasn't the entire jury, just a few of them, and not for the entire testimony.
I take it to mean when the body core (navel/belly button) is facing the person they are interested and believe the person talking.
I guess I should be calling it Navel Intelligence rather than Naval.. sorry.
