Nope, even bad attention would show her that you are thinking about her enough to take the time to do that...and she would like it. She needs to just disappear completely. No attention for her would piss her off more than postcards from places she can't see. In her mind she'd probably just chalk it up to females who are just jealous of her. Seriously.

I know TAs family needs support but I happen to think it would be a big slap in the face to JA if NOBODY other than the family showed up for court. She thinks this is a BIG game and she gets to dictate all the calls.....it is SO sickening.

I thought we were going to have a CA moment today and ALV was going to blame it on JA's Dad, thank goodness that didn't come to fruition, but did you see the look on the Aunts Face?.......still don't forgive them for their smugness when the email was brought up tho.

I think 6 mos. after verdict we should ALL check on status of RS and ALV. I wholeheartedly believe the stance they have taken professionally to help slaughter AGAIN the victim in this horrendous crime will come back to haunt them. Karma can be a REAL biotch when annoyed.

What must have happened is that KDDJ's photo with JM got posted here on WS first, then one or more posters copied the picture over to Facebook trial thread(s) and those sites are seen by various trial insiders and media.

This is what many people don't realize about the Internet--there is no real privacy. If you (the general you) post something on Facebook or here or any site that can be seen by the public, that's like broadcasting yourself or your friends/associates and showing what you or your friends/associates are up to, whether you intended to broadcast that information or not. And defense teams use the Internet just like everyone else and will find things to use to further their case or causes (hey, just like everyone else), and the media will use and exploit something if they can because it generates ratings and advertising $$$.

And because the context is totally lost the finder of said item will create a story to go along with whatever they find to turn it into something bigger or more salacious than it might otherwise be.

I kept information I learned in one murder trial (meaning things about the family, the victim or just things I learned along the way) off the Internet altogether and to myself to maintain privacy, boundaries, and stay far under the radar. It was important for the case to proceed without any further 'junk' getting in to muddy the waters. It was bad enough when one WS poster published info she gleaned from a relative who worked at a site where police showed up and the info she posted was fundamentally wrong, which everyone learned 2 years later when the case went to trial. Those nuggets posted on WS got immediately picked up by the media and spread far and wide and the rumors created issues (in this particular situation, affecting the defendant).

Exactly. Hopefully this can be a learning experience for all of us. NOTHING posted on a public site is private, NOTHING. Bravo to you for speaking up.

I knew something not good would come of all that. I just knew it. I wish those people hadn't done what they did. Juan is a prosecutor trying to do his job. He's not a rock star. I know Katie just kind jumped in so I don't blame her. But the people who started the hoopla and were asking for autographs shouldn't have done it.

Well, Ladies, I sent it onto Facebook, after getting permission, but, my understanding was it wasn't the photo, BUT the story AZcentral did. It was a video, never a photo. That's what JC was commenting about, the story on Juan being asked to sign autographs.

At least, that's what I got from it watching court. I don't see how anyone can complain about him signing autographs considering Wilmott signed one IN COURT for a Dr. Drew Juror. She was 17 years old and that TOO was on TV.

Wonder why that wasn't brought up? Plus, I've seen Johnny Cochran, F. L. Bailey and others give autographs and pics daily. Many gave interviews!

I have to post this here, as I have been watching hearings for the trial ie. Chris Hughs etal. and I have to say because it is an OBSERVATION from the screen in front of me haha Jaun Martinez reminds me of my Cocker Spaniel "Dash" who looks very unassuming yet is an absolute hard *........ here you go.....

I repeat Katie DDj did nothing wrong nor did Juan Martinez. Nor do I feel incorrect about posting here about my courtroom observations. I hold many things private as well.

I'm not changing over this. And I do feel like my "boundaries" are appropriate here.

I wasn't talking about you, your boundaries or anything related to what you are doing or not doing in this case, nor do I feel KDDJ did anything wrong (or JM either for that matter). I'm talking about general privacy on the Internet (that doesn't really exist) and Facebook and public access to content.

Trolling Facebook and other Internet sites is part of what some media folk do, as well as some defense team members and I've seen perfectly innocent content get twisted into something it's not and used to to further an agenda (like what Nurmi was doing today, as an example). I witnessed this happen in another case back in 2008 and it was a wake-up call for me at the time because I was very close to a case and became close to some of the friends/family of the victim and it was something I had to confront and think about and make some decisions at the time. It's something I've kept in mind since because I saw what I saw back then with the media and some defense team members and then some rumors. That's my experience which is not related to this case or anyone associated with this case.

Thank you. You are probably right, he had to have known this would happen. Hopefully he puts it right.

What saddens me, is that this pedophilia lie and others have been put out there and that there are people out there that believe them. And no matter how good a job Juan does proving them to be false, there will always be people out there that believe it, just as people still believe George Anthony was involved in Caylee's death and was a child molester. Travis will never get a chance to speak for himself.

My heart is really heavy right now and I can't quiet my racing mind. What if one juror buys it....?

The <mod snip> knows that most of the jurors aren't going to buy it but they don't care . ALL THEY WANT IS ONE JUROR, JUST ONE and they are willing to put their experts up there to get out what they want the jury to believe, to even get humiliated like Dr. Shamuels. They know Juan will shoot the expert down but they don't care. it just takes one juror- just one. they just want to plant that seed. it is revolting, it really is.

Jaun has been a star for a long time, this is nothing new to him.. now worries all the Katies, If JC made an oops its on her not them...I think it is a non issue other than Nurmi wishes he were Jaun Martinez right now.. I am a Kathryn by the by. Lots of here.. weird

If I lived there and could attend court, I would wear a navy blue suit, heels and purse, put my hair up and put navy blue bows all through my hair. If anyone, I mean anyone put me out of court because of it, I would hire an attorney and try to file suit saying it was against my constitutional rights to dress....after all, I would be perfectly professional and modest in my attire.
However, if I saw Jodi's mom and aunt in the hallway or ladies room, I would get thrown out because I would tell them that TA is the victim and they disgust me. MOO.
