Wish I could have said Thanks more than once on this one!!:great:

It has been so difficult to watch the re victimization of Travis A; the character assignation; all of it. It's horrendous. That whole specticle was disgusting, I truly can't verbalize my distaste for the disrespect that entire group shows to the Alexanders and the death of Travis
Beth is now replying...I;m hoping she reports on this.

I can't even imagine what that dolt would possibly have to say to her after the way she spoke about Travis. She should have ran straight to the restroom and stuck her head in the toilet. Shameful
Katie, rest and get some electrolyte replacements, with all the stress you are under you need take extra precautions. Arnicare gel is amazing for joint and muscle pain, any CVS etal will have it.
Agreed. Eiglarsh keeps regurgitating Trial Practice 101. Well, guess what? 30 years of prosecuting big crimes allows one to develop their own style. JM has been doing this day in, day out for 3 decades! He knows what he's doing. He goes in with a very definite strategy (Eiglarsh would have Juan reading from typed questions), and he pursues it. No matter how evasive or cantankerous the witness, he hammers the points until he gets what he wants. That's the mark of success and experience.
I'd like to point out, again, that JM likely has a team of folks back at the office doing support work for him. I am sure that someone found every mention of ALV on the internet, watched every youtube, read every book and seminar materials, etc. The team brings stuff to JM, and he no doubt carefully reviews all of the important stuff. When court ends, JMs day is just beginning. He's an awesome courtroom lawyer. When some TH said that defense lawyers are more skilled at cross than prosecutors, I wanted to scream. How many witnesses do you think JM has crossed in 30 years? Far more than Eiglarsh or any of the other TH defense lawyers, of that, I am certain.
Hey KCL, Good MorningI'm glad you mentioned the size of the killers hands. My hubby and I thought her hands just look huge because she's on TV, you how sometimes people look bigger LOL I also wanted to tell you I had the tape of your interview up on my screen, my hubby walked behind me, I could see him walk past me and glance at my screen, he looked away and then quickly turned and came back, he leaned over my shoulder and said "who's that, she's really pretty" Thanks Katie, for all you are doing

No ... people do not need to be ashamed of having a different opinion.and I agree with a lot of their statements
Speaking of Beth, I just followed up with an email about the ALV boundary violation yesterday. Also Steve Kucj who did the ABC story. I want this ironic behavior exposed. This kind of abuse to victims goes unchecked ALL the time. Maybe since Sam is a police officer they think she's "tougher". She still is entitled to FULL RIGHTS of a Victim.
PSA Having some real pain issues w/ my hands and arms and I have to use them today for my job this afternoon so I'm gonna stop typing for the rest of the day. Please save any questions here or pm's until I can rest up a bit..then I'll get back to posting..thanks! PASA is here to answer all your questions about court yesterday..she was there all afternoon!![]()
KCL - I didn't catch every minute today, but I noticed at least twice where the judge smacked down JW in front of the jury. These are the first two times I can recall that happening in what I've seen of the entire trial.
You've said lots of times the perceptions are different in the courtroom than what we see on TV. Did you sense that these (and maybe there were others, since I only saw a couple minutes of JM's cross) were signaling the judge's impatience with JW incompetence and time-wasting? Those seemed like significant moments to me.
- One was when JW lied and said ALV wasn't reading stuff, and the judge said something to the effect of "I saw her looking at the paper while she was talking."
- The other was when JW made an objection as a mischaracterization, when it was her speaking objection that was the mischaracterization. The judge told her, "I think you misunderstood the question." JW wanted a sidebar and the judge blew it off, asking JM to repeat the question. Oh snap!!
Thanks!
The people around me were laughing at ALV not at Juan. Now D and some of her ex-con friends may have been laughing at Juan, but that's par for the course.
Ok I just taped this off my tv with my iphone and let's see if it works here.

IMHO, Juan needs to hold up an autopsy photo of Travis and ask "well did Snow White do THIS to an elf when she got mad at him?" that ought to shut her up. I think there's no way she's actually even seen the autopsy photos or she wouldn't be up there running her mouth with ridiculous analogies making herself a complete jackass. So, is this it for the defense's trotting out flakey "experts"? ..please no more! Where did they find people like Samuels and LaViolette?? DT Must have been busy turning over a lot of rocks.

Oh wait forgot to mention the cherry on the top of yesterday was with PASA and I walking to the car (she walked me to MY car I should say) and we went past the media trucks on the way. At an intersection some lady was waving wildly at us from her car and it's a bit of a sketchy neighborhood so we were both like "uh oh what's that?".
It was Beth Karas! lol Waving and saying hello and we had a little exchange before her light turned green.
Totally cool.We are having so many fortunate experiences being involved with this trial we said to each other.
