What is the 3rd color in Tricolor's hair? When the camera went to her in the courtroom I could only discern 2 colors: the blonde on top and a dark reddish color underneath.
I'm really curious about the computer forensics expert lined up for rebuttal. I thought at first that it would be someone who could rebut that no/pics/virus was found on Travis' computer, but they already had someone to do that in the CIC, IIRC. And the lie is not that the child
was on the computer now anyway. So, I'm wondering what else they might have found or if they were somehow able to recover something from Jodi's smashed hard drive. It will be interesting. This rebuttal case may seal the deal.
Was the hard drive actually smashed, or just the computer? People often don't realize that the computer is made up of COMPONENTS, the hard drive being only one of them. I've built and tinkered with PCs for many years, and have done some repair/replacement of laptop parts (hard drives, keyboards, screens, memory, power socket). Smashing a case for a computer or wrecking a screen probably won't damage the hard drive INSIDE of it (which is why I usually snicker when someone in a TV show or movie throws a screen out the window or shoots the screen or takes a hammer to it).
It might or might not short it out, though, assuming the computer had any power while its being smashed. Even so, there are platters inside the hard drives that can probably be recovered if a computer forensics person takes the hard drive apart. You really have to deliberately DESTROY the hard drive, which is not an easy thing to do. Hell, it's hard just to get inside of them TO the platters; you need a special screwdriver (I don't know about about the newer, solid-state drives - they are probably easier to destroy).
So if someone is in a hurry to get rid of computer evidence (at least on a computer that they can put their hands on), then the FIRST thing to do is remove the hard drive and destroy it or put it somewhere where it is less likely to be found (like the bottom of Hoover Dam). I would destroy the memory bars, too, just for good measure. The rest of the guts of the machine can probably just stay there. I'm not saying they couldn't still recover something from chips on the motherboard (I don't know), but the hard drive is what they are usually most interested in, and it is the hardest thing to truly destroy or render unrecoverable to someone who knows how to do it.
I'm sorry, this is completely O/T but with that being said, see 3:05

Flat out, its a total insult and put down to said human masked as "fairness". When the right way to see it is: she is a human and just as capable as any other human. So treat her just like you would treat anyone else including a man).
I'm wearing a cape tomorrow. ,or a tiara lol
I'd never share anything I got privately like that. I'm very aware of certain levels of privacy and boundaries. Unlike.....oh well you know.
This from The State vs Jodi Arias FB page:
I just watched the longer version of Det. Flores' interviews with JA's parents (link posted on the media thread). After seeing how devastated Sandi Arias is during that interview, I don't understand her demeanor in court. The smirks, the apparent lack of empathy for TA's family. On the most basic level this is a horrific crime. How can she not feel awful about what happened to Travis? And why would she blame his family/siblings or at least not feel terrible for them? I just don't get it. She can't possibly believe the lies about 'domestic violence?' She knows her daughter is a liar.
And then gave Sam her business card??? :what: What was she going to do? Counsel these grown kids on their childhood? Rather hypocritical.
In seeing how Arias took extreme personal pieces of Travis' life experiences and used that in such a horrific manner to terrorize and murder him, yet Alyce doesn't see that? That stabbing of the back...childhood--the gun to the head...the robbery attempt. I wouldn't be surprised if Arias had thrown cockroaches at him. She's that evil.
Jodi Arias is learning from Alyce alright, you can tell she pays attention and it is not good; she learning how to lie, manipulate, scheme and control more. All these defense experts and lawyers played right into Jodi's sociopath hands.
Hi, all newbie here! Just wanted to give a VERY big thanks to KCL, Pasa, 3sons & all the courtroom observers for their insights. I have been reading these forums for about three days now (think Ive gone cross-eyed from all the reading), and am looking forward to joining the discussions.
Don't you think that the men will not be so much titillated as disgusted? Maybe a little sex would be provocative but there was soooo much and it was so gross. I think Nurmi was obsessed with the sex.
KCL, Pasa and any other WS'ers going to court this week- I can't wait to see y'all at HH. My SIL has an appt. with her oncologist on Wed. and that is a free day for me...maybe I'll try to get into the pm session. If I can't, We will definitely see you at HH and you all must tell me all I missed.
I can't believe I've been trapped at my house in FLA watching this online for 3 months and I will be in the same city for 4 days and probably won't be able to see any of it- Boo Hoo!
Look forward to meeting you!
Thanks! I'm impatiently waiting for tomorrow. I'm sure I'll have some ?'s or comments then. Cant wait to see JM tear ol' ALV to pieces!Welcome to the forum! Glad you joined us. Jump in any time you're ready.![]()
I saw some hair bands the other day that were kind of tiara looking.I'd get one and wear it but GW would probably tackle me for it. LOL!!
Is there a replay of it, and if so, how do I access it? I am pretty new to it, and have never had to listen later, :blushing: TIA
