Just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to comment. And post pics. Not only are you the smartest and wittiest group around, you are all quite lovely as well. :gthanks:

I'm in Atlanta, so hopefully can return the favor for Andrea Sneiderman's trial. She testified in her co-conspirator's trial.. it would be so interesting if she testified at her own.

YW, happy to do it.

I hope you can attend the AS trial and give us the inside scoop. That would be great.

Can't wait to read your posts about today's trial - especially if you enter them after Happy Hour!!

Trust me, my posts are bad enough without happy hour. LOL!

Awwwww.... Thanks for sharing the pics- that made me smile, and I turned to my cat and said,"hey, look, there are some of our peeps!""
he was quite impressed with the lot of you :)
Seriously though, thanks for going and providing inside insights- I'm there in spirit :)
You guys rock!

Beautiful group of ladies!! Can't wait to hear the "rest of the story" ... I actually stayed home from work yesterday and watched the trial all day and all night.... I'm obsessed!

Just wanted to say that you ladies are the best! Thanks for keeping us all updated. I'm sure Travis's family appreciates your support!

Ok guys, I don't think I'm gonna try and get down there today. I did take the afternoon off but my schedule is like threading a needle today to even make it on time and there are alot of friends/family there right now. I'm also just not feeling very peppy. I think this trial is starting to actually take a toll on me -- I'm kind of exhausted this week.

One of T's friends' BD is today and they are doing a little thing for her at our rooftop so I may head down for that after court. Will see how I feel.

Sorry...but I'll be watching this afternoon from home with the rest of you! :)

Hi there, Lady!

Great to meet you yesterday. I cannot see these pics for some reason... is there another way?

Also... would love to see Momtective's gallery pics, but I cannot see them. Is there a file teansfer on here? Would you ladies be willing to send them? I will lable them with names if that is ok with everyone.

Thanks! - now back to vinnie.

Thanks.. if all the WS courtroom "STARS" don't object.. I would love to see names (or monikers) with the pix!

How is GW (Gypsy Woman) related to the case?

Is she just a Trial Groupie with boundary issues?.....

Or ??????

Sorry if this has been answered, I'm waay behind.

BBM- yes that is a very good description. :)

I'll be happy to post the photos "Juan" took of the group with my phone. I wasn't sure if it was allowed here.

What an absolutely beautiful group of women!!!!

Thank you all so much for your input. This is my first trial with the sluthers. I've been contemplating posting under the armchair psychiatrist thread to see if I may have OCD.

I'm wondering if any of you that have seen Jodi "in person" felt any sympathy for her or if maybe the hair on the back of your neck stood up?

It would be interesting to be that close to someone capable of killing. I'm not sure I could forget it.

Oh no... hope your schedule clears up and you can attend.

One of my dogs got his vaccinations this morning. Waiting to make sure he's ok before we head down. Hubby took the night off so he can go today. :)

+1 on being exhausted. From now on I think I'll attend half days if I go. All day about did me in. But so worth it. :)

I was wondering almost the same thing? What do you feel when you see her in person?

http://www.indiabix.com/body-language/hand-to-face-gestures/

The Mouth Guard (Saw jurors 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, & 18 do this)
The mouth guard is one of the few adult gestures that is as obvious as a child's. The hand covers the mouth and the thumb is pressed against the cheek as the brain sub-consciously instructs it to try and suppress the deceitful words that are being said. Sometimes this gesture may only be several fingers over the mouth or even a closed fist, but its meaning remains the same.
Many people try to disguise the mouth guard gesture by giving a fake cough. If the person who is speaking uses this gesture, it indicates that he is telling a lie. If, however, he covers his mouth while you are speaking, it indicates that he feels you are lying!

The Nose Touch (Saw jurors 7, 8, & 18 do this)
In essence, the nose touch gesture is a sophisticated, disguised version of the mouth guard gesture. It may consist of several light rubs below the nose or it may be one quick, almost imperceptible touch. Like the mouth guard gesture, it can be used both by the speaker to disguise his own deceit and by the listener who doubts the speaker’s words.

The Eye Rub (14 did this a lot. I also saw 18 do it)
'See no evil' says the wise monkey, and this gesture is the brain's attempt to block out the deceit, doubt or lie that it sees or to avoid having to look at the face of the person to whom he is telling the lie. Men usually rub their eyes vigorously and if the lie is a big one they will often look away, normally towards the floor. Women use a small, gentle rubbing motion just below the eye, either because they have been brought up to avoid making robust gestures, or to avoid smudging make-up. They also avoid a listener’s gaze by looking at the ceiling.

Boredom Gesture (Saw jurors 2, 7, 11, 14, & 18 do this)
When the listener begins to use his hand to support his head, it is a signal that boredom has set in and his supporting hand is an attempt to hold his head up to stop himself from falling asleep. Extreme boredom and lack of interest are shown when the head is fully supported by the hand.

Chin Stroking Gestures (Saw jurors 7, 14, & 18 do this)
When the index finger points vertically up the cheek and the thumb supports the chin, the listener is having negative or critical thoughts about the speaker or his subject. Often the index finger may rub or pull at the eye as the negative thoughts continue.
The next time you have the opportunity to present an idea to a group of people, watch them carefully as you give your idea and you will notice something fascinating. Most, if not all the members of your audience will bring one hand up to their faces and begin to use evaluation gestures. As you come to the conclusion of your presentation and ask for the group to give opinions or suggestions about the idea, the evaluation gestures will cease. One hand will move to the chin and begin a chin-stroking gesture.
This chin-stroking gesture is the signal that the listener is making a decision. When you have asked the listeners for a decision and their gestures have changed from evaluation to decision-making.

I wish I would've taken more notes regarding what was being said at the times I saw each of these, but it's hard to pay attention and scribble everything down. I was interested by Anita's question to JD about JA rubbing her neck though, so things started to stick out to me. Turns out all the gestures I noted are signs of doubt, etc. Interesting!! :great:
:great:I LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL your notes! I'm glad that we had similiar observations (though yours were so more in depth and love the above body language tutorial!) Yeah, that Maureen...I don't know about her. Also, fyi, Juan WAS different yesterday. It came out over tv, too. It wasn't how he was in court on Thursday, that's for sure. Can't wait to read more observations but had to break in there and give you a gold star for your courtroom observations! :seeya:

ready to see where Juan takes us today. i want to see all the dots connected for the jurors :)
