A view from the inside: observations from our own court observers

I get so excited to read all of your input when you come back from trial to share and report. Just watching I thought today was a weird day, how was it in court? It is so apparent on tv that JA has no feeling what so ever that she is on stand for an admitted killing that she did, she acts like it's just another day of the week. That really bothers me - is that how she comes across in court?

I really do not like her disrespect for JM in open court, that just should not be allowed.


PS. Thank-you those who welcomed me and said Hi a few pages ago, that was very nice.

Dr. Drew's guest host was talking **** about JM! She said "he is an epic fail". Beth Kara's was the only talking head who said anything good. I may need to take a break from the tv. :furious:

How in the world can anyone think JA is "beating" JM? She drives me insane!!!!!! :Banghead:

I don't think dr. drew could recognize a sociopath if she came up and bit him on the nose. He frustrates me beyond belief. I only watch to see what the websleuthers have to say. At least they have an INFORMED opinion. That co-host... blech.

So glad Katie W said a female juror was writing everything that JA wrote about Travis she left at the memorial!

There was just too much she would blab about their relationship every chance she got. There is no way she would say or even write some of the things she did TO him or ABOUT him if he was anything less. Such as what she now wants this jury to believe! Just no freaking way!

Thank you PASA! My draining button got hit today....I literally put my pajamas on at 3pm. I have not felt well all day but did manage to watch the trial of course.

Someone needs to somehow manage that Gypsy Woman. She seriously makes it uncomfortable to even be in the public gallery area. I don't know...maybe I'll make some inquiries tomorrow.

I almost stayed home due to being drained. I figured I could make it for one session but couldn't do all day.

I did hear that. She's still saying it is Travis, but I disagree, as do a lot of other WSers.

GW is ramping up her Hall Monitor role. She was more vocal and instructional than usual. I just shine her on. She had bright lime green leopard spot get-up with white go-go type boots.


Awww thanks! When he knew she was the one who drove over he wanted her to be able to go in with me. He said he lives here and can go anytime.
He's a good guy, most of the time.

Take care of yourself, get some rest so you can go to trial tomorrow and represent.

I saw Tanisha today and spoke to her. I told her she looked beautiful and that color (taupe/rose) looked good on her. It really was pretty with her skin tone. She is a sweetheart.

Can you imagine how the jurors feel?
They all have a life, that has been put on hold while she and her attorneys drone on and on.
If I were a juror, I would be getting pizzed. Sort of like waiting for your airplane to get in the air, but you're stuck on the runway for days!
No wonder so many people want out of jury duty.

I agree, nothing special about her. Most people I've seen in person look better than they do on the court feed. She's the exception, she's more homely in person.

A side note on the court reporter. We didn't know where the rooftop bar was
and asked him for directions. He was very nice and helpful.



LOL! Love it... So true. Mine says she's average at best and thinks she's guilty as sin.



I've not seen the feed of the last 2 days. Hubby gave his seat to Frigga and we were seated behind the defendants family. He said he can go anytime and she drove all the way over for trial and thought she should go in with me.


I will look through my notes and post anything interesting later. I'm fried, dogs want attention, etc.

A couple of side notes:

No sooner did we get back from afternoon break another sidebar. Next think I know the attorneys, judge, court reporter are back in chambers.
They return, then the jury comes back. Judge says recess for the rest of the day and jury to return at 10:15 tomorrow.
After jury leaves she asked if there was any business to be discussed (paraphrasing). Nurmi says the sheriff's dept hasn't been providing her lunch for the last 2 days and he wants it to be ordered that she gets lunch.
Then he says she has a migraine.
The judge said she will look into it. End of day.

Gypsy Woman aka Hall Monitor was working the room and being more bossy than normal.

I went to the afternoon session only. I think the jury is paying attention I didn't see anyone who looked like they were sleeping yesterday or today.
I also believe they are on to her and from their expressions they are tired of her B.S. MOO

I didn't go in the morning. Afternoon was making me dizzy. ja was giving a lot of "I don't know" "I don't know what you mean" responses.
The jury was paying attention from what I could tell and some were taking notes.

Yes, that is how she comes across in court. I will say that it's not easy to see her expressions from the gallery. You get a much better view on the live feed. But sound is better in the court room. Nurmi sounds much louder than he does on the feed, especially when objecting. LOL

Remember, the jury is seeing her disrespect and lack of emotion. The 48 hours interviews are very damaging to her. IMHO

Thanks Nurse. There wasn't any indication of what was discussed because as soon as they came out the jury came back and court was dismissed.
I am hoping it will come out in court tomorrow.

The lunch issue was discussed in open court after the jury was excused but public/family etc was still in the gallery.
