Wow..Thank you for saying it again!!! The biggest problem with Cindy is she is completely torn. The second biggest problem is she has really bad manners and puts people off. She has made some huge mistakes in the public eye but now she can do nothing right and I think it is largely because she has been unappreciative and rude. I don't think that ANY parent would stand up and say that they believe their child is guilty and shouldn't be expected to. What would be great is if the A's just say they love both Casey and Caylee and pray for them both....end of story. Too bad they didn't start that way.
Both Jeffrey Dahmer's father and Mark Hacking's father admitted their son's guilt.

So has LE interviewed Michelle Bart, who was the one responsible for making the arrangements with ABC?

If LE is interested in following the money trail, she'd be a good one to talk to.

And, no privilege.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

She didn't leave until somewhere after the 13th/14th did she?

And JA was pushing hard in the interview for someone else who didn't have privilege who might have been present during discussions including JB after the remains were found. The focused on an occasion at the A home.

whew - I think I might kiss you for thinking this one up.

The A's accepted it? What were they supposed to do when they got off the plane after learning that Caylee's body had been found, they couldn't go home, and someone had booked them into the Ritz? Argue? "No, our beloved granddaughter's remains have just been found, please let us go to a Motel 6."

Do you know that the A's dined lavishly or that they even ate what they ordered? The dinner was described as being very somber, that doesn't sound to me like they were enjoying themselves and whopping it up.

I don't see any reason to give them the benefit of the doubt. I may believe this scenario if it were anyone other than the Anthony's. Nothing they have done would make me "suppose" they were distraught and didn't eat, were being led around because they were to depressed to eat, etc. etc. You could "suppose a normal person would do this. But none of their behavior is "normal" to me. Their actions thus far tell the true nature of their emotions. I believe they were enjoying the attention, percs and need to be important. I just don't understand how so many think this was normal for them to behave in that way.

Probably shoved under the beds.
I hope no one opened a closet. LOL

Didn't we all think Cindy was OCD after that interview? I know I was feeling mighty guilty that my house looked no where near as neat and tidy and I hadn't lost any of my children.

Is this why they cancelled their interview with Larry King? Conflict of interest?

Both Jeffrey Dahmer's father and Mark Hacking's father admitted their son's guilt.

How soon did they do that? Immediately? And did they come out and do that in media statements or at trial? I honestly don't know the answer to either question, but I would imagine both needed time to accept their children's guilt and their admissions were made to LE and probably after the trials. And didn't Jeffrey Dahmer's father still say he loved his son? I seem to remember him visiting him in jail, but I could be wrong.

Both Jeffrey Dahmer and Mark Hacking confessed. Here's an interesting interview with Dahmer's father, if you have the stomach for it:

For a parent, I think that this horror would be almost worse than losing a child to death. When you lose a child to death it would be hell on earth for sure.Everyone understands that and you will have people to lean on and love you through it in most situations. Where do you go when you lose a child to the horrific crimes commited they commited? Who can you reach out to? Then there is guilt, questions, love and I doubt there is ever any sense of peace

One thing I do not understand is that if the Anthony's have PR professionals working for them, why did not said individual understand how angry the public is at the A's, and understand that booking them at such a high profile, expensive hotel would not be looked at favorably?
I do believe that Cindy and George must have been devastated to realize that everything they had forced themselves to believe about a possible alive Caylee was no longer possible, and when they found out that they would not be able to go home, it would have been difficult to think clearly.
THAT is where a seasoned PR person, realizing the above, could have made arrangements for them at any area hotel: I would think that finding one a lttle more private, a little less ostentatious would be the appropriate course of action.
I would think that a true PR professional, sensing how badly the A's were perceived in the public eye, would be sensitive to her clients image, and act accordingly.
However, the A's threw in with Michelle B. 'Nuff said.

Maybe because a "seasoned" pr person would not touch the A's with a ten foot pole?

It was probably more of a Conflict of "how do I now go back on national TV and explain all of the lies I told last night?"

Let's face it, they didn't need to stay at the Ritz. Lee lived a few streets over, and they could have even brought their dogs. They felt "put out" and took full advantage of Michelle B's poor PR choice of having ABC put them up at the Ritz, as well as including Lee, Mallory, and DC, Jose to dinner at Morton's in the Ritz. Poor choice.

Absolutely agree. One thing that is a constant source of amazment to me is that these people seem totally unaware, or unconcerned about how they present themselves to the public. Are they social savants, or do they really not care about how they are perceived???

Honest question here LinasK, did the father's of those men admit to their guilt before or after their trials? Not being snarky at all. I can see where the A's wouldn't want to comment until after KC has had a fair trial and is convicted (I think she will be).

ETA: nevermind I didn't read past your post, I had that question and just posted it.
