I presume to not assume? What exactly am I presuming? I really think there's a lot of anger toward the Anthonys here.

Even if there were, why is that a problem? What I take issue with is making this a personal issue about posters and at this point I am notifying a mod.

From the article:Rooms go for about $300 a night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and sources say they Anthonys had dinner at Normans on Thursday night, where dinner could cost $100 a person.
Okay ChillyWilly, still think they were only eating chili rather than steak dinners with wine???

um The Ritz Carlton is just a hotel and dinner does not cost $100 per person. I am an event planner for a large bank and I stay at the Ritz all the time.

I think many if you have large illusions of what a Ritz Carlton hotel is. It is a warm and normal hotel with medium priced food and nothing screams lets party.

I don't know that this thread is important at all. IMO

I must have missed something. Where did someone say they "hated" the Anthonys ? Asking questions about demeanor is not hating. Obviously, if ABC paying for the stay was not an issue, there would not be a thread about it. I suggest that those who find this topic offensive and/or upsetting just move to another thread. There are lots and lots of interesting topics regarding this case and they may have some valuable ideas to add to those.

I haven't seen "questions" as much as making judgment calls on behavior that can't be known unless you're psychic. I don't find this upsetting at all, but thanks! :)

I second that motion. There is, I believe, a thread in support of the Anthonys.

But I haven't seen people rallying against ABC. Mostly just the Anthonys.

Isn't it ABC's right to choose what they spend money on? Maybe they were trying to be nice, maybe they were trying to score the interview, maybe they knew it'd enrage people and make for more headlines and searches.

Would that be for an alive or a dead Caylee?

It has everything to do with ABC paying for the defense of Casey Anthony and her families actions upon finding out the news of their grand-daughters death!
It was worthy of discussion in a LE interview with DC so I definitely think it's relevant.

Dinner could cost $100 anywhere depending on what you order. COULD is very different than DOES AND DID.
I think the cost of the dinner is irrelevant to some degree. That they were meeting with an ABC producer on the heels of Caylee's discovery is the issue.

I asked if the searches would be for an alive or a dead Caylee. Remember, this was the day the Anthonys found out the body had been found. Kapish?

It does if you think this case includes a cover-up along with a murder. The demeanor of the participants is evidence.

Evidence of what? I don't see the proof of anything.

I agree with that 100% - the Ritz does nto matter nor does the dinner, but meeting with an ABC producer during SUCH A DIFFICULT time tells me either this ABC producer was taking advantage of them during a difficult time by giving them a place to go and eat in private and have total access to them, or that this producer and the Anthony's have other business that surely could have waited a while. What is the nature of that business?

Ok, question...why would they be meeting with an ABC producer immediately after arriving back in Orlando?

Online searches. For news. That's how I got lost.

Trust me. Plenty of people have made their opinions known to all media outlets. This is Caylee's forum, not an ABC forum.

This is a perfect example of the bias that's often found in WFTV's articles. Dinner's "could" cost $100 a person - that has nothing to do with the A's. What did they eat? What did their meals cost? What difference does it really make? Why does WFTV even feel this is newsworthy? Why don't people read what's actually being said or rather, what's not being said, instead of allowing the media to think for them?

I don't allow the media to think for me, I don't even have cable beyond the basic channels. I don't get Nancy Grace, Greta, and all the others. I evaluate for myself.

Somehow, I rather doubt going to a restaurant of this caliber, that all the Anthony's had was chili.
