Chad Everett, "I'm not a doctor, but I play/ed one on TV", star of TV's Medical Center, died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles. Especially famous for his role as Dr. Joe Gannon, and for his TV commercials (was it aspirin or something like that?). The article linked below lists some of his other roles.

His wife of 45 years preceded him in death in 2011.

I remember my Mom had a crush on him and we'd watch Medical Center every week!

RIP Mr. Everett - you bring back such wonderful memories of my Mom. I hope she gets to meet you in heaven.

Yes, R.I.P. Chad.

Mr. Everett was in the 1998 recycle of Psycho which was supposedly inspired by Gein. I actually like this film but I think I am part of a minority. It's sort of a fun game to try to find the differences between this version and the original even though they are essentially from the same script.

He also starred in the 1964 classic Get Yourself a College Girl, one of those movies we went to back then thinking we were going to see something sexy. At most, we'd just get to see some chick in her undies. Usually the sexiest thing about these movies were the adds for the film in the newspaper.
