Actor Christopher Lee dead at 93

British actor Christopher Lee died in Kensington, London at age 93 on June 8, it's just been confirmed.

Lee appeared in more than 250 movies, but for many was forever known as the vampire Count Dracula in a slew of "Hammer Horror" movies - the gory, gothic thrillers churned out by the British studio in the 1950s and 1960s that became hugely popular.

More recently there were roles in the Star Wars prequels and Lord of the Rings

He was Sir Christopher Lee, I probably should have added. Also, besides being the king of sinister, he was a 6'5" WW2 ex-commando who spoke six languages and whose mother was an Italian Contessa.

While I understand he couldn't live forever; he DID live life to its' fullest !
Not very familiar with his earlier work, but he will always be Saruman to me !!
