I'm not at all surprised his wife is defending and supporting him at this time.
I do think we're watching in real time, sadly, just how many victims (aside from the primary ones) this vile crime leaves in it's wake.
Assuming of course he's guilty so I'll have to say alleged, I guess.

She could just refuse to speak to the media, that would be a better strategy than to be vocal with support. Seriously, if your husband was accused of this, not just once, but many times over years I doubt you'd support. Timothy Busfield isn't some target for money grabbers like high profile, rich entertainers can be. People barely remember who he is.

Of course the therapist father of the 16 yr old girl isn't asked about him being a mandated reporter.
I hope he doesn't think his 15 mins will conjure up new clients because he's creepy negligent as a father and a therapist.

I was surprised reading about TB's past investigations and accusations in the police report and I'm just as surprised here reading about the boy's parents financial/criminal past here.
I thought that was a "no can do" unless during a trial if approved by the judge.

Busfield is playing hard. The defense is smearing the accusors knowing prosecutors will likely not be commenting other than say, "The case will be tried in court of law, not the court of public opinion. We are confident in the case, and Mr. Busfield will have his chance to defend himsel at trial just like every other defendant."

He's acting just like the thing he's accused of. Of course there's no evidence, pedophiles make sure of that. Once and abuser, always and abuser.

It's hard not to see the point of Busfield's defense team calling out the scandalous past of the boy's parents plus the threat the mother allegedly made.

On the other hand, their claims could still be true, regardless of their past criminal histories.

Either way, those innocent kids are still being victimized/exploited in one way or another and that's the worst part.

A doctor alerted LE well over a year ago that suspected grooming and abuse was happening and they declined to press charges? I do wonder what the reason given for that was. It sure seems to me the information initially coming from a doctor holds a lot of weight.

"The investigation into the “Stripes” star’s alleged crimes kicked off in November 2024 when a doctor at the University of New Mexico Hospital alerted police about suspected sexual abuse and grooming involving the minors, per the warrant. We don't know the legal process, nor the state of the victims and family. Meaning, similar to rape victims, LE and the DA will weigh the evidence and ability to convict before they move forward. It's possible the family did not want to put their young sons through more trauma at the time (they were 7 & 8 years old at the time, correct?).

Reading about them certainly is eyebrow raising and can only help with TB's defense and I think public wise it already has.
I am confused though if it does go to trial what in TB's past and the parent's past would be let in as evidence against them?

Is there an option that the charges could be dropped against TB?
I don't see a plea deal and a trial would be very dicey for the prosecution.

Crazy too that if the reports are correct the woman whose job it was to watch the twins had warnings because she was elsewhere numerous times when the boys were acting up on the set.
That reporting makes no sense to me that this supposedly continued to happen with her.
