Her loved ones have requested privacy as they mourn her loss.

This is so shocking! I noticed she hadn’t posted to Instagram in a while, but just figured she might be making a movie. She posted quite frequently in 2024, but 2025 was sparse and nothing since April. I’ve been a great admirer of her work for decades and enjoyed her social media content. Really sad about this one.

How sad, and unexpected. Always admired Diane.
She was her own person. For someone who claimed self doubt and insecurities, she never was influenced by the Hollywood mindset or lifestyle. I respected her. Also loved her as an actress.

Diane was an extraordinary talent. I first saw and loved her in Annie Hall and Looking for Mr. Goodbar. And later realized she was in the legendary Godfather movies. I have been re-watching classics lately, and I hope Annie Hall can be found on streaming.

I liked her movies quite a bit. Sad she died. But I quit watching any movies with her or Woody Allen's participation when she publicly defended him. JMO
