I don't get it. What is the difference?

These answers are not set in stone. Just my experience from running a fourm.

Admin: This level can access the forum software, and is the highest level of management on a forum.
Super Mod: I believe this level can moderate any forum. Might also have some special functions.
Mod: Moderates just the forums assigned. Can not make changes to other forums.

Does that help? Just think of it as different levels of management. The higher you go, the more functions/capabilities/responsibilities the individual has.

Oh, I see! Thanks, Sprocket, that has been driving me crazy for weeks!!

Sprocky.. what forum do you run? I didn't know you had one.

Sounds thrilling LOL

I hope 'you' enjoy it

I don't have a clue how all this keeps running, but am amazed, as I realize 'someone' has to oversee what's going on in here--remind some of us to be courteoous. on-subject. Heck--that means 24/7, which truly amazes me! A big THANKS to one and all for your fair minded effort. You're GOOD PEOPLE, and appreciated!

Thank-you for asking a question I've been privately wondering about for a long time...:)
