More details coming out by the minute. We now have a passenger count of who was on board.

"The plane had 97 passengers and four crew members on board, Mexico's transport minister said on Twitter."

This could be bad unfortunately. The pictures are horrific of the smoke and whats left of the plane. You can see the large tail so it was a big plane.

Just read this on a Spanish newspaper, what a tragedy :( It went down 5 minutes after it took off so I wonder what happened. I really hope they will find survivors.

Yes that is the same clip that was in the news clip and that one is much clearer so thanks for sharing. At the very end that is either walking wounded or maybe just spectators coming to see if they can help.

They dont look like formal rescuers so I hope its walking wounded because that would mean survivors.

Gosh I hate the news when a plane accident occurs. :(

Thankfully everyone must have followed advice to evacuate quickly and not tried to get their luggage or post on social media.

I was expecting numerous fatalities. Hope it stays this way.

Wow. I hope that is accurate. That would be great news. The pictures of the burning plane look terrible so it is a miracle if everyone survived. Wow.
