One time I was doing the dishes and my dog was underfoot, as usual. I had to reach to the counter behind me to get a dirty plate and large knife that I had cut the roast with.

When I turned around, my dog moved and in order to NOT step on her, I jumped out of the way. The plate and knife went flying. This HUGE knife lodged itself into the floor within inches of my dog. It scared the living crap out of me. She's fine, though.

Accident's happen. People really have to be more careful. I'm so glad the little guy is going to be okay. I'm sure the Mom feels terrible.
