Juneau Police Lt. Kris Sell said that Alexis Ashley Ehlers of Juneau hasn’t been heard from since being involved in a minor fender-bender.

“Ehlers has been distraught over personal issues and walked away from a very minor vehicle collision prior to the arrival of responding officers,” Sell said Thursday. “Ehlers has not communicated with her family since and they’re very concerned about her welfare.”

I was thinking that same thing. Maybe whoever titled it just skimmed through the article and saw that a "man" found the body and twisted it up a bit.

Whoever it is, how strange. Goes under the hot tub covering and passes away. Poor soul!

Confirmed 😞:http://juneauempire.com/local/news/2017-08-24/body-found-hot-tub-identified-missing-woman

So sad. RIP, Sweetie.

“We did receive a positive ID,” said Juneau Police Department spokeswoman Erann Kalwara. Next of kin has been notified.

Kalwara said there was not a definitive answer as of yet as to the cause or time of death. But, she added, “based on the preliminary findings, there is no sign of foul play.”

“An autopsy has been done, but we have not received a final report from the medical examiner’s office,” Kalwara said, adding that could take a month and that the investigation is continuing.

This is so sad and confusing. Why would she crash her car and then go crawl into a hot tub?

RIP Alexis :rose:

Juneau police close case on woman found dead in hot tub

Juneau police Lt. David Campbell said his department received the State Medical Examiner Office report on her on Oct. 9. But he said he couldn’t make it or its details public.

He did say it includes a cause of death, toxicology and that there was no evidence of trauma. Police do not suspect foul play.
