Richland, Missouri man Jerry Robert Warner, 71, was last seen August 3rd after heading out alone on a fishing trip on Williow Creek in Anchorage, Alaska around 11am. He'd been camping there with two friends in an RV nearby, and was reported missing at 7.34pm that night when he failed to return.
Warner was wearing green chest waders, a camouflage hat, a gray raincoat and glasses. It's not believed he was carrying any type of survival gear or a cellphone.
Sadly, after a week of intensive searches, including underwater ones, troopers have called off search efforts after not finding any trace of Jerry. He has been added to the state's Missing Persons Clearinghouse.
