Chandler said friends have received zero tips in recent months about what may have happened to Kronos, but Anchorage police say they have gotten some action on a dedicated tip line.

When asked about the status of the case, APD spokesperson Chris Barraza replied in an email that are are no new updates on the case.

“We have received tips on the dedicated line, but none of them have yielded any information that could help with the case,” Barraza said. “This is still an active case, and our detectives continue to work on it.”

When asked about the status of Sternhagen, Barraza wrote that “Officer Sternhagen is still employed with APD, and that is all we will be confirming at this time.”

Was he a native to Hawaii? I didn't see it mentioned but local native Hawaiians do not like non natives buying up land on the island.

From what i gather, he grew up in Alaska. His disappearance has nothing to do with his purchase of land in Hawaii. I don’t think it does, anyway.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A judge has awarded a long-term protective order to Anchorage Police Officer Christopher Sternhagen against Catlin Mobley, a man Sternhagen says has been harassing and threatening him ever since the disappearance of Mobley’s long-time friend Tony Kronos.

Kronos was last seen March 6 near his Eagle River home. Sternhagen, who neighbors say didn’t get along with Kronos, lived directly behind him.

After Kronos’ disappearance, police searched Sternhagen’s home but have refused to say why, or what they may have found. They’ve released very little information on the case.

Catlin Mobley has made no secret of the fact he believes Sternhagen is involved in Krono’s disappearance. In court Friday, Mobley told Judge Jonathan Stinson that he didn’t dispute the stalking allegations and that he wouldn’t contest the long-term protective order that bars him from contact with Sternhagen or his family for a year. But Mobley asked that he be able to continue his social media posts.

“I would like to be able to identify him in my posts as my brother’s alleged killer,” Mobley said.

Oh the irony ... WHERE IS TONY?!!

Christopher Sternhagen appears to look a tad bit on the smug side.

I couldn't help but note that in court proceedings Mobley called Tony his "brother". I do NOT believe they are related unless I've totally missed something. As for the smugness IMO ,it could just as easily be his personal feeling of not having to deal with the person for whom a protective order was involved, as to anything else.

There will likely be a lot of backstory on the characters involved here that will come out when Tony is found. I hope he IS found, and soon.
