AK AK - Joshua Kronbach, 40, who legally changed his name to Tony Mac Kronos, Eagle River, 6 March 2025.

Probably taking fingerprints on all surfaces? If they suspect he was kept for a while in the empty airbnb part of the duplex before being moved? Digging? Shed dna samples?
Just speculation, but 3 days seems a lot so they must be wanting to build a really solid case and not letting any space not analyzed, they must have already found some evidence.

Are they digging? That's a long time to be searching what looks to be a small property.
I think if digging was going on the media would have gotten wind of it (you'd be amazed at the range of some of their audio devices, one of the first things I learned in on scene investigation was don't say ANYTHING out loud if there could be a media van nearby). Fingerprinting can take time but more likely, unless the person is a hoarder and the place is an absolute mess (not my feeling on this) it might be computer forensics. If the search warrant is just for the house and/or outside property that doesn't allow the cops to search phones and computers. BUT if they come in with (or come BACK with) the right warrant ( the police having shown a magistrate probable cause for the searching of certain objects, eg cell phones, computers, etc in the affidavit for the warrant, and thus allow the magistrate to sign a new warrant that allows such searches). That can take some time if on scene (and note, they do have to show that there is reason to believe the computer and or phone may conain evidence of a crime).

Well we know they are actively investigating, as evidenced by the multi day search of the neighbors house. Are they any closer to finding Tony?

Disturbing to think a member of LE could be responsible. Arrogant enough to feel untouchable in a very obvious situation?

We have an update on the case of a missing Anchorage man. Tony Kronos has now been missing for several weeks, and while there are no new developments to report, Anchorage Police and the FBI say their investigation is very much active.

Detectives continue to work around the clock—reviewing surveillance footage, analyzing evidence, executing search warrants, and interviewing witnesses.

Officials say investigations like this take time, and each step is critical to ensuring a thorough and accurate outcome.

Newest development in this case. The man who lives behind Tony is seeking a protective order against one of Tony’s most outspoken friends.
Sternhagen was present in court for Friday’s hearing but Mobley was absent, calling in by phone.

APD Officer Christopher Sternhagen was in court Friday, seeking a long term protection order...

From your link @PeriwinkleE thanks!

First picture of CS I’ve seen in the media. The reason for his court appearance is ironic, MOO.

It’s definitely something unexpected. This is one of those cases where I am at a loss trying to come up with any theories, especially after this.

I've seen some of the friend's comments, so not surprised in that regard. LE has never mentioned a POI in Josh's disappearance, however - CS's home was searched for a reason. I can come up with a few theories based on that alone ...
