Any one of us could have passed him at one time and not known by the looks of his whereabouts and timeline.
Pretty frightening to think people like him are out hunting humans...:scared:

Ironically, I thought of Green river SK gary ridgeway due to the frequent flyer comment about IK..
GR actually attended seminars/book signings by Ann Rule. After his arrest, Rule's daughter said she remembered him because he stood in the rear of the room, never participated in the discussions, and never purchased any of her mom's books..

Ridgeway admitted to returrning to the bodies of about ten of the women having post mortem sex, until the flies came.. On one occasion his son waited in the truck only 30 feet away. When asked by the detective if his son remembered and threatened to tell, if he would have killed him? Gary Ridgeway, responded, “No….I might have”…. When asked how he felt when his first victim’s remains were found. Ridgeway said that he felt that they were taking something that belonged to him…

He began taking skeletons or partial skeletons to an adjacent State at that time to confuse task force detectives and prevent them from confiscating any more of his possessions. By the time Ridgeway was scheduled to go to trial, 71 innocent victims’ remains had been located in Kings County, WA, alone, by Task Force members with the assistance of Gary Ridgeway, K9s, Sonar-XRay Devices provided by the FBI, and ‘Grave Dowsing, yes, that’s correct; ‘Grave Dowsing’: an Ancient Art, utilized by Law Enforcement Agencies across the US, for locating remains and other items of evidence…

Ridgeway, feeling invincible, continued his research to perfect his crimes. He not only took great pains to remove all forensic traces of himself from the victims, his house and truck, and went as far as planting evidence; cigarette butts & chewed gum of others, that he found at the airport, to confuse investigators into believing that the unsub was a traveler. False tips were sent to the media: ‘The Post Intelligencer’.

Police so far have no theories about how the foot ended up in the water.

In the past four years, about a dozen feet encased in shoes have washed up on beaches near Vancouver, along the southern Georgia Strait and off Washington state.

The papers were sent to an FBI laboratory in Virginia for processing and the FBI was able to restore the notes to a mostly legible condition for review and analysis.

"The FBI concluded there was no hidden code or message in the writings," the FBI said in a news release today. "Further, it was determined that the writings do not offer any investigative clues or leads as to the identity of other possible victims."

The FBI said it would not offer any commentary as the meaning of the writings, but the chillingly morbid writings speak for themselves.

Keyes seems to refer to his victim as a "pretty captive butterfly." He describes what appears to be the victim's final moments:

Was IK tweeking; meth? A common denominator among many predators/serial killers...since the 1970's..

I've wondered that myself Foxfire. When could he possibly sleep driving all these distances, killing people, kidnapping, robbing banks.....all in one trip! IMO he had to have some type of chemical assistance to get that done.

Digndoodle has commented before about speculation about drug activity simply due to some of his travel patterns.
