<<A few days later, authorities issued a warrant for Robert's arrest; he had been scheduled to appear in court on allegations of driving with a suspended license, and he missed the court date.

The Kellys are considered to be missing under suspicious circumstances and their cases are unsolved.>>

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - On May 16, 2004, Robert Harris Kelly Sr. and his son Kristopher Sean Kelly walked out of their house, and no one has confirmed seeing either of them since.

The Kelly family, 58-year-old Robert, 17-year-old Kristopher, and their dog, lived off of Chena Pump Road. No one seemed to see anything unusual when the father and son left their house that day. Since then no one was able to get in contact with them.

Thirteen days later on May 29, Robert Kelly’s oldest son, Robert Kelly Junior, finally went looking for them at their house. He said when he arrived the door was unlocked, Robert Senior’s car was gone, and the family dog had clearly not been taken care of in some time. He promptly filed a Missing Persons report.

On June 1, two weeks after the Kellys were seen last, their car - a white 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass with the license plate number CDV242 - was discovered abandoned in the Bentley Mall parking lot. But once again, there was no sign of the Kellys themselves.

Only a few days later a warrant was issued for Robert Kelly Senior’s arrest. Evidently he had been recently charged with driving with a suspended license, and had failed to show up for his court date.

No fresh leads have been announced in 20 years, and the Kellys are considered missing under suspicious circumstances. If they are both alive today, Robert Kelly Senior is 78-years-old and Kristopher Kelly is 37-years-old.

If you have any potential information about the Kellys’ case, please reach out.
