He took great pains in disposing of his victims. He was very methodical and very organized. He did not target a particular victim, it was more about circumstances.

Several victims are listed as missing persons (assume these are the WA State victims).

SWNB, LE did say that where he was does not limit potential victims, he traveled extensively.

He would fly, rent a car. Dispose of the victim and return home. SCARY!!!!!!! Evidently, he was very skilled at what he did.

Yes. The potential victims are endless. But with them saying that he DID have at least 4 victims in Washington and 1 in New York, I thought that was relevant. Then again, he may not have killed his Washington victims when he actually lived here....ugh. Frustrating.

Keyes was DOLING out names of victims, he was not interested in giving closure to victims families. We were in the process of building a repoire with him, gaining his trust in order to get confessions out of him.

There could be more victims, other than those we know of. This investigation will last months and even years into the future.

I'm pretty sure the guy said that Keyes told them there were 4 bodies in Washington state, and 1 in New York. But he did NOT say where they were, and he did NOT give out names. The others standing behind the guy also shook their heads no when he was asked whether they knew names. ???? Did I miss something?

Sounds like Keyes was a very cold-blooded killer. I wonder if any of the WA victim's families will speak out in the press? I really want to know if any of the cases I have an interest in can be solved.

Not what I heard, hope we get a clarification soon. Didn't they say they had contacted the victims's families today? I assumed that meant the WA State victims. I could be wrong. Making chicken soup at the same time I am listening and typing.

This is big news, I think we all suspected he could have more victims. But for me, this was a surprise.

In hindsight, the way LE conducted themselves makes perfect sense. They said Keyes was extremely sensitive. They needed to keep his confessions completely under raps for fear he would not reveal anything more to them.

"Keyes committed suicide after he'd admitted to killing a Vermont couple who disappeared in June 2011.

But at the press conference Sunday afternoon, an official with the FBI said that based on a federal investigation there was reason to believe Keyes had been a serial killer and bank robber, with murder victims in New York and Washington state along with the Vermont couple, Bill and Lorraine Currier.

Keyes had been in custody in Alaska since his arrest last March in Texas on suspicions that he'd killed Samantha Koenig, who disappeared Feb. 1 from an Anchorage coffee hut where she worked."

Federal authorities disclosed Sunday that Keyes is suspected in at least seven other deaths in outside of Alaska as well, including four in Washington state. The U.S. Attorney for Alaska described the investigation in recent months as "massive."
