I found his family (or some of them) but I don't know if I'm allowed to post their names. I also found his myspace, there isn't anything on it though, and a online review with amazon where he reviewed a drill.

I don't think we can post family on here. It is amazing that not a single person came forward to suggest what a great guy he is. I did search the state of Washington repository for IKs civil or small claims cases and found none. I was thinking there may be something there, even if it was sealed about custody, divorce, etc. No luck. I also looked at WA missing people and there are a few I wonder about as well. May want to look at missing women in the running/jogging community as he was into that for awhile. "Great trail running in the Neah Bay Park, do we have a date"; cringe...I am curious about missing women around the time of his DUI. I wonder if that was his first oops and almost got caught for other things. :twocents:

Ok, this website of his needs some updates. It was just linked above that IK spent some time in Federal Prison and was realeased June 2001. Maybe that's where he got his Tribal Patch...LOL. He then says he went to live in Neah Bay...nobody goes to live in Neah Bay..IMO.

hmm... I think IK served 1 day for a DUI- it was federal land which is why it was not a state charge. This is somewhere on an earlier thread I think.

Here is a helpful tool in finding pockets of particular types of homicides in specific locations: This tool is the reason I've been doing searches for him, just trying to pin down some locations, but here it is so anyone else can use it as well.

Hi Whisperer. To prevent you from getting a further headache, everything - and I mean everything - that has just been posted about Israel Keyes was hashed out here a long time ago. We had this info posted the day & subsequent few days after his initial arrest in TX.

Hi SeeingForTheFirstTime. Israel is definitely his name. I had the same questions & confusion as you when I read up on him, especially since he doesn't have a strong net presence. He comes from a large family. They are spaced out in ages. Genealogy is not permitted to be posted on these missing threads. He has a biological brother that is several years younger & lives in the North East of the US. They look incredibly alike. Bc of tos, his family tree cannot be permitted to be posted. The rumor about him going to TX for a family wedding is true. It was his sister's wedding. He was homeschooled. Family is Mormon but lived among Native Americans as well - the whole family, not just Israel. The other IK that you just posted about is definitely not the same one that's incarcerated for Sam's disappearance & theft. As a matter of fact, the IK that you posted about is dead - he shot himself after he killed his girlfriend & her child. Again, this is all in previous threads.

I can't believe he spent time in Neah Bay...I am stunned. That is a perfect place to hide out. There is a place called Seiku, nearby.That is where all the fisherman and others go who want to enjoy a fishing vacation, eat, etc. But for him to list Neah Bay as a place to live, boy, that gets my alert meter shaking. I don't even know if there is a place to live there. Next to the cannery there used to be some rooms...ugh!

It is SO OUT Of the Beaten Path, that nobody would want to go there, no less live there...IMO. It would be a perfect place to ditch a body though. You are literally at the edge of the U.S. and if you drive and miss the log, you fall off the cliff into the ocean. I remember that day...LOL

He did live in Neah Bay. It's listed on his past places of residence.

Whisperer, I had all these same questions. I am Italian & Irish from my mother's side, American Indian from my father's side. Reservations & Native Owned Land throughout the US all have the same rules & regulations. IMO, Israel would have had to be Indian to live there & work there. He lived in Coleville as well, among other states. I'm still not certain if he's full or even part at all, so it confuses me...however his family was raised with a strong God conviction & learning of appreciation for our lands.

How do you know so much? I am new at this and you seem to have amazing resources to access information. Like the family stuff...I have no way of figuring out where to look. But, that is not something, even if I found it, to be shared here. They are victims in many was, too. No chance he is a lost boy? OK. I would make sense in a lot of ways demographically/socioeconomically, etc...but, not in a justification or criteria or reason for his actions...

So, he was in the Army. How long? Does anyone know? Did he get an honorable d/c. This guy could have been committing crimes for years...and hiding out in rural areas where people don't notice him.

He had no money despite the fact he was in the construction business. This is strange.

Girl you need to read these threads. You literally missed sooooo much good information. I know how you're like some of us other die hards that's a stickler for facts. It was beautiful how we all worked so well together on this case, which as we all kniw isn't seen all the time lol. Some of us believe he could have originally had a dishonorable discharge but presented good time served so bartered for an honorable discharge, which is perfectly legal & done everyday. Another note is that his DUI it seems was on a base or base subsidized property in the surrounding town. His website for construction shows a discrepancy in time served in the service as well, so something else to note.

Thanks but saba is right about the DUI. It didn't occur to me that the DUI arrest took place on a military base and that would make it a felony if I'm not mistaken so no new information can be credited to the link soooo carry on. I wish that weren't the case because this guy seems so DL that it's making me crazy. The more I look the more concerned I get.

As mentioned a few posts back while I can't post the information and names of IK's family, I think that I can just say something about the subject in general that may or may not be something worth looking into. From the information that I found it's possible that IK may have may have spent some amount of time in Gothenburg, Sweden in August 2006. He has a large family (he is 1 of 9 children) and a large part of the extended family still lives in Sweden. He also has familial ties to Salt Lake City, Utah as well as Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Lol omg you're so sweet! I only know as much as everybody else that was on this since the beginning. Seriously. Some people are good at pulling court records, some good at genealogy, some at past residences, some at networking, others at old business, some at traveling endeavors we all share. Literally.

The reason I know he's not a lost boy is bc some of his family have social networking profiles that he looks exactly like. <modsnip>
