From everything that I have read , he does not seem to fit the profile. Has anyone found anything about him that seems violent or shady?

I haven't found anything yet either, but now that his name is out there people have GOT to come forward with information. People know him. Things are going to come out.

Would someone mind linking to IK's comments. TIA

mmm...well, accd to Google Earth, the place on 12th does not appear to be his "work" either (it is a small home)

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q...code_result&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCEQ8gEwAA

Maybe he just worked from home (Spurr Lane)? In the ADN article, I read that some neighbors had been minorly annoyed by contruction activity in his yard that happened in the late evenings...

I'm only on page 13- catching up! But is it possible that Sam had a relationship with this guy on the sly- he's not bad looking (in the current pic), and probably makes decent dough if he has regular work- and left WITH him? Used her own credit cards... I dunno. Gut feeling is also that this is more convoluted that we think. MOO

I will bump up that post... with that being said, it is not known if those comments were made by IK (and also we cannot discuss comments on news articles here at websleuths)

I have a aserious question about Keyes involvement being actually for someone else(as is theorized CB as that someone else) .. the only way this occurs is when one or two things are present or both 1) the person for whom you have involved yourself in major criminal activity specifically kidnapping and very likely murder.. the person has to be of great importance for an individual to put himself in such a predicament ..as in an extremely close relative or lover.. or 2) the biggest component.. COLD HARD CASH BEING PAID TO THEM FOR THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN SUCH MAJOR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY..

IMO NOT EVEN IN THE FURTHEST REACHING CAN I EVEN BEGIN TO BELIEVE THAT IK IS INVOLVED FOR ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL.. ESPECIALLY CB..A YOUNG PUNK KID WHO LIVES AT HOME WITH MOMMY AND HIS THREE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER.. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS CAN I MAKE THAT CONNECTION WORK..

SO WHAT WOULD IKs benefit be?

Whatever happened to the story about SK stealing $3000 from her father the day before or the day of her disappearance? I don't remember ever reading any statements of that being true or false.
Could IK have known anything about that $3000 I wonder?

If he had done a "professional" job, it would seem more likely that he would have made sure to get rid of all evidence in his car and home..JMO

  • #372
I agree - I don't see CB having the type of funds to pay someone to get rid of anyone. And there's not really much of a reason for CB to want to get rid of SK, she wasn't pursuing the assault complaint against him as far as I could tell from all articles.

  • #373
I figured the part about "retaliation" was in fear that he would be the victim, due to his name being released as the main suspect, JMO...

Doesn't make much sense, does it? I don't think this guy had a clue LE was looking at him.

One of his neighbors commented that he was on a long vacation out of state. I took that to mean he had not been around the house in a while. That leads me to believe he isn't in Texas because he is hiding, he has a purpose for being there.

This is just crazy. I envisioned a few scenarios, but this wasn't one of them.

What if this guy refuses to talk?

Pinki, how could anyone not love a pink cupcake like you? (love the avatar!... well it is kinda scary and cute at the same time)

Heh.

My husband would totally describe me as " cute but scary". LOL

That was false information.

So I figure there is only 3 motives that are possible here:
1) jealousy/stalker
2) money?? Unlikely
3) hired out by someone

4) Alaska has a very high rate of domestic and sexually violent crimes like rape and child sexual abuse. Very high. I think in the lower 48, 1 in 7 girls are sexually abused and in Alaska, it is 1 in 3. These are the reported numbers, not the actuality. The numbers of women who disappear there are high in comparison with the population and elsewhere. This could be a crime of opportunity and random.

So maybe he had his gf credit card, was using it thinking he was going to keep under the radar not realizing that it is a crime to use another's card, even with their permission and it gave the cops the perfect excuse to nab him?

I have to say, having the GF's card seems plausible. So he leaves to find work, she gets irritated because it is taking so long to find it. Maybe, he over-drafted her account and she reported it so the bank wouldn't take her first born for over-draft fees. And the "link" is the fact he happens to have left the state during this time. Or, it is sealed because perhaps he was abusing the 12-13 year old daughter and LE does not want to shift the public focus on the case. Perhaps, during interviews looking for Sam, she disclosed some information and they use the credit card as a means to get him arrested. Any child who reports abuse is terrified and retaliation is a reality. If he assaulted the child, he may have used something along the lines of, "if you tell, you will disappear like Sam." That is how perps get kids from disclosing. Maybe, something like that is the link and it may be real or a fabrication. But, it is real to the victim.

Or...as I said before he obtained a credit card fraudulently, i.e. like using the last name Reyes instead of Keyes. Or happened to be in many places at the same time as other missing cases and LE convinced the GF to report her cards stolen. Or he had the tip jar from the coffee shop in his car.

:twocents:

If this turns out to be a random stalker fixation-type kidnapping, it is too bad that so much of Samantah's past had to be exposed, and embellished...I know it is necessary to look at the victim, but it is totally possible, with this guy, that her past had nothing to do with the kidnapping. JMO

I don't see a bit of random about this at all. I think Sam was taken to teach someone a lesson, I am not sure if the person is completely aware of the lesson yet, but they have an idea.

The way she went with the kidnapper had my atention very early. Things being kept secret by police .... adding up little bits just makes me more suspicious. I still think somewhere in all of this drugs are involved. Not Sam doing drugs. I don't think she was supposed to be missing for this long either, something went wrong along the way. But I am slightly batty when I have a gutfeeling lol

Her past certainly wasn't required to be thrown out there but for the most part I think people think like me and expect it and ignore it. No matter what she did in her past does not make a kidnapping understandable nor acceptable.

There has been an insane amount of protecting done in this case too. Police protecting future juries, JK protecting her friends from talking to media, Media not even writing the questions I KNOW they would have asked, no mention of public information requests. Boyfriend protected (I don't think he has anything to do with it). Basic information like CB did a polygraph (or not) ... way too many cover ups.

I agree.

I've read stuff in the last hour that makes me sure her family know who took her and why.

All my thoughts were wrong.

Where have you been reading things that make you think her family knows who took her?
