I have no idea. I have no idea how someone can say he looks different and the reporter without thinking say "different how?" It just rolls out.

Did the neighbour see the long haired photo? (Once again WHY was that photo not sourced in the story?) If they saw the long-haired one and they are saying he looks different - then he may have just had his haircut since that was taken(shorter in arresting footage). The background in the long haired photo reminds me of a drivers license photo. Maybe an Alaskan can confirm that. Passport photos require a white background.

The neighbor said on the news she thought it looked like he dyed his hair since the last time she had seen him.

I was asking for a few older pictures of IK. Thanks so much. When I pulled that up though I saw the ones that have been posted in the fliers and such? I am just trying to figure out if the one neighbor said he looks different in those pictures what did he look like prior?

Sorry! I misunderstood..I don't believe there's been any other photos out there of him..Are you sure the neighbor said different then "those pictures" we've seen? I took it as diff then what he looked like when arrested which he def does.

I guess I just misheard, he had a bit of an accent I think. I am from Alaska as well and hope to come home soon....clean air!

I think he has an extreme accent & I come from Bawstin! lol

That's not the typical AK accent is it? IF there even is one.

Since the only dated photo we have is the arrest photo, I don't know what he looked like last week. I am going to assume that the neighbor saying, "It looks like he dyed his hair since the last time I saw him" means sometime since or right before he left Alaska he dyed his hair.

Maybe he stopped dyeing his hair and now his grey hair is showing.

This is so frustrating! Why have the owners of the Coffee Hut not been spoken to again? They are the only ones apart from Police that have seen the video. If nothing else but to ask if it is possible that Keyes is the one in the video.

Can anyone remember a story that has so little info out there from everyone involved?

I have a feeling IK made many stops at that Coffee Hut & SK was not the only one that ever served him=all her co-workers saw him before too..IIRC, it's in the general area of stores (like Lowes) that he'd frequent for his work..I assume LE told them not to talk but many xs they do anyway..I can think of a few cases going on right now where that's happening.

CB & his mom are doing way MORE talking then they should..Her dad is too but not about anything really involving WHO may have done this to SK or WHY!

It is a most frustrating case!

Sure..it's possible. But the neighbors indicated they saw him last at the beginning of March..so I don't think it's grown out and gone gray already.

But this is obviously just my opinion.

If IK had used whatever it was on the 13th of March & supposedly ONLY in AK then that means he got to TX the very next day cos he was arrested there on the 14th..It seems he did it right before fleeing AK which doesn't look good for him..But! Until we hear what other evidence they have against him, which doesn't appear likely with everything 'sealed', I still can't rule out he may have found things belonging to SK..OTH! There has to be a good reason for so MANY warrants issued right?

Admittedly she didn't know him that well. She didn't even remember the name of the woman who he lived with. But she did recall when they moved out. They left the neighborhood two or three years ago to move into a house over in Turnagain that the woman bought. About a month later she says Keyes came back to the South Addition rental to fix it up for his former landlord. She thought that Keyes had built a new fence, done some painting and put in a new floor. These are all tasks that would come very easily for a professional carpenter. The neighbor says Keyes began his company, Keyes Construction, while living in the house across the street.

He was actually arrested Tuesday the 13th, so it would've been tough for all of those charges to be in AK.

This is different than what I was referencing. This article was published yesterday afternoon. The conversation where the neighbor mentioned his hair was aired on the 6pm news and I haven't seen it in writing yet. Just to clarify.

I really hope they've searched the property in Constable, NY.

Right, and the warrant out of Alaska is sealed. So, I assume (I know, I shouldn't do that) that LE had him under surveillance when he was pulled over...It's really not all that difficult to figure out that he was a suspect judging by the charges that were filed unsealed. I'd really like to get a gander at those filed under seal.....:what::what:

JMO, MOO, IMO, and all other disclaimers.

The complaint was issued in AK for access device fraud in "AK and elsewhere" between Feb 28 and Mar 13. (See post 178.)

You're right it was the 13th..Now I'm even more confused then ever..I thought it's been reported everything went down in AK which is why he's being brought back there.

Has there been any past violent or aggressive or felonious behavior dredged up from his past yet? He just seems like an unlikely suspect to have killed a young girl for petty cash from a register.

:jail: about time

  • #579
Does anyone here know how long he was in TX before he was arrested? I am totally befuddled.....Totally.....

  • #580
What if it is a Alaska bank card, example (Alaska usa) and you used that card all over the states? Charges for Alaska?

Device fraud definition, you don't even need to use the card/device just have it and not be yours or permission to have it.
