It appears LE is giving up nothing and are not wanting the public's help at all. If they did, they would give out info. They know exactly how tall the perp is. They may even have DNA or prints at the scene. SK left w/o anything, so this was a kidnapping and she went willingly because of fear...how sad!

The way police have acted in this case is something I have never seen before. Makes me want to just hug every single one of the cops here and blow the Chief a kiss because this behaviour wouldn't be tolerated in this city.

The scene prints etc have not been mentioned but considering the footage of the CCTV was reported on the Thursday by the owners and the police didn't look at it until the Friday you can safelt assume there was no evidence.
They also had a heavy snow so tracks leading away were covered.

We are still arguing as to whether she had nothing with her or not. The morning barista said her belongings were in a cubby, we don't know what the belongings were.

Dad was calling her cell all day and texting until it ended up going straight to voicemail (assumed battery was dead)

He doeesn't have a restraining order against him. Samantha didn't turn up to the court because according to her father she was scared. According to his mother it was because they actually had a relationship while Samantha was dating Duane (her now boyfriend) and things got nasty and Samantha filed a RO. We have since found out that Samantha would earn a little extra money by driving CB around to drop off or pick up drugs (depends which story you read). CB knows Duane (the BF) and her stepbrother that lives with her mother (I think it is the mothers boyfriends son).

I do know the MP is not related to SK at all. But again like you said mothers boyfriends son makes sense. But not by marriage nor blood. I think MP is using the term step brother for his own benefit, to make himself sound more legit. CB and MP are close "singer" buddies.

Also, where did he and his family go on Feb 2 for 2 weeks? Would you bring your daughter and gf with you if you had kidnapped someone?

MP is SK's mom's boyfriend's son. SK referred to MP on NUMEROUS occasions as her brother. He lists DC as his stepmom but she doesn't appear to be, only his father's gf. I don't believe it's to make himself sound more legit at all as they both have referred to each other this way for a very long time.

CB & MP are def not my cuppa tea but then again neither is SK. AFAIC, none of these peeps are stellar citizens for crying out loud. Snoop Dogg is a millionaire & a reefer advocate, has made tons of money off of his "gangsta" style music including cuss words, weed, guns, sex & violence. Tons of rap stars, and I do mean TONS, are doing he same. Sure CB has a "background" BUT so does SK and everybody else she surrounded herself with, by choice as well as family.

We've all gone over why JK mentioned "fear" as the reason SK didn't follow through with the court order yet a lawyer, court officials AND media have seen texts from SK to CB that prove CB's innocence. Fear? Next they'll start saying the only reason she was a drug driver is bc she was in fear. Oh well, thank gosh JK cleared that up when he said it was for extra money & whatnot.

Freedom of Information does no good if the tape is still being used for the investigation. I'm curious to see if CBS is able to air it in it's entirety, if they get it at all. Remember APD said that you can't make out the kidnapper's face BUT the tape was needed for other evidence in the crime?

I do not believe I have ever seen MP refer to Sam as his anything. CB's mother referred to him as her step-brother, which I believe is a technicality error, as MP is Sam's mother's boyfriend's son....if her mother and her bf got married, MP would be her step-brother, not that it matters.

I have seen tapes released based on FOIA requests. File enough of them and it starts to raise questions with the department. There are many things released during investigations. One lone cop nor a detective division has the right to hold back what APD have. Just the fact someone is doing it is a good thing, maybe not for this case but for the future. This is a city's police department. I would HATE for anything to happen to my child in Anchorage with this particular department in charge. It's been a long time coming by the looks of things.

I would hope that CBS would not air the whole film if it could cause hurt to her family and/or friends. Sometimes there are no benefits in photos/footage being released. I have seen a heap of photos and footage that I would never have printed - it would have done nothing but upset many readers and given the nosey parkers something to glare out BUT it gavve me the chance to tell the story better, clearer and give reason to the actions of authorities.

CB wasn't known at all before this. Now his name is spread out. Good as well as bad. In the industry, good or bad word is no matter as long as people are talking. Now it's obvious CB aka WT has been noticed.

Again - not my taste BUT that pic of him in the cowboy hat is adorable. He could start up some country two steppin' rap & really become noticed. Once a song sells, it won't matter all the bad stuff that was said bc he'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Darn right. Hopefully it works. I was just saying if APD is honestly still needing the tape for the case, then it doesn't have to be released. Totally agree with you on everything!
