3 People Arrested After 29 Dead Dogs Found Piled in Backyard and 2 Dozen More Discovered Emaciated

Over two dozen deceased dogs were found in plastic bags in a pile in the backyard of a home in the Beauregard community of Lee County, Ala., with another approximately 24 discovered emaciated inside. Three people were arrested in connection with the deceased and neglected animals.

Curtis Dewayne Haralson, Patricia Ann Sims, and Tiffany Ann Sims were arrested and booked into Lee County Jail on Monday, Jan. 12, according to police.
