The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert.

A dark-colored SUV was seen at the home around the time she disappeared. If you have any information contact the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at 256-845-3801.

Officers tell WAFF Barnett currently lives with her aunt.

Authorities also say a dark-colored SUV was seen at the home around the time of Barnett’s disappearance.

Seems like we will have to wait for more info to come out in this one. No Amber Alert per reports so wonder since she was at her aunts house if this was a familial situation. Pray for her safety

Who does the family or neighbors know that has a dark (green?) van? That's not a common color. It shouldn't be hard to spot imo.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't received more attention. I wish it would. This little girl needs to be found pronto!
Why would a vehicle just pull up to a house and take a child at the same time her aunt just happened to go to the store? Had they been watching the house and knew this child was alone? Another family member was right next door outside. Wouldn't this be a deterrent?

“She was last seen wearing a navy blue hoodie with dark khaki pants BBM at her residence at 6 p.m. in Collinsville, Alabama on March 1, 2019.“

Later in the same article it says she was last seen BBM at her aunt’s house.

“Officials say Amberly was last seen BBM at her aunt’s house in the 1900 block of County Rd 822.”

So does she live with her aunt? But her mother is referenced above? Or do they all live there?

I read somewhere that she does live with her aunt. I don't know the circumstances around that tho. It could have some relevance....idk.

She’s also holding flowers so maybe a recital or something like that (school play, etc as you mentioned).

Does she have a cellphone? Does she go on the internet? Online video games? Sigh same old questions.

Hopefully LE will locate the vehicle on surveillance/traffic cams and they will release an image of the vehicle, as they did in Hania’s case.

I wonder if she had been stalked and someone saw the aunt leave to go to the store without her, knowing the other family member was also not in the house, and seized the moment of opportunity.
