Here is a screenshot from Google maps showing the 1900 block of county road 822 where she was last seen just to give everyone an idea of the area. It is not heavily populated with large spans of acreage/forest between houses. I realize the map has it labeled as 1779 County Road 822 but when you zoom in on the mailboxes it starts with 19. I don't know if this is the actual location of where she lives or the aunt lives but it should be somewhere in this vicinity.

Here is 1945 County Road 822. Two houses close together with a short common drive. It's the only common drive I see on 822.

Short driveway, completely open to view. In an abduction, it seems unlikely a perp would drive right up to the house. When there is an occupied house next door.

Thanks Gardenista! When I enter that in Google maps and go to street view the mailboxes show addresses in the 20xx and 21xx range. Than again the street view images are from 2014 and houses may have been renumbered since that time.

Thanks Night Watchman! That is an overhead of the street view I posted earlier. I think this has to be the area. Of course that's just my opinion.

This makes sense because her mom said something about the BIL working on the house next door/same land.

2 am - a missing child alert (not an amber alert) is released
6:30 am - Amberly's body found
11 am - announcement that search is suspended and 1 PM presser
1 PM- presser with no real info other than search into Cherokee County and Georgia
3 PM- presser confirms child found deceased

This is a 'tight' timeline! What I mean is that it seems like that poor girl's body was found quickly, and somewhat near where she was last known to be.

In this case,Found Deceased - ME - Kristin Westra, 47, North Yarmouth, 30 Sept 2018 we were able to find out that she had killed herself.

Do you think there would be a difference in age reporting? Personally I would want it reported to anyone who might off bullied her! Not that this makes this case easier!

If she was being bullied, or other minors were involved somehow, might that be reason for a self harm situation to be kept quiet? It certainly would explain the poor officer being so shaken.

The line on the 2nd account is troubling. It's pretty heavy for an 11 year-old to lead off with.

First, how did they find her so quickly? It appears the area she was abducted is heavily wooded.
Why does anyone think self-inflicted?
There was a van in driveway supposedly.
She was found somewhere besides her home.
Rumors are floating ...if true, definitely not self inflicted.

I was leaning towards self inflicted, or something involving peers and/bullying based on her Instagram, but I'm thrown by the horrifying comments....

Maybe there is a known camp or cabin in that wooded area associated with a green van or SUV?
