I'm saddened that some folks are blaming the victim and family......there is only one person to blame and that is CM.

I know some people do not believe in the death penalty but this 🤬🤬🤬 does not deserve to live the rest of his life in prison. He did not contribute to society. IMO, he was a ticking time bomb that exploded and killed a young girl. Drug addict, threatened girlfriend (or wife not sure) and murdered a young girl. I say to hell with him. I am sorry, like the rest of us, I am furious at this low life.

I am with you and part of your club. I am so sick of demented lowlifes thinking their life is worth more than some child's! And their sick reasons! I try not to judge not knowing all of the facts but I AM! ugly worthless 🤬🤬🤬 who dared--I had better not go on...!

The family would be wiser to go for LWOP ; because with the DP --there'd be endless hearings and appeals that the family would have to attend -- in order to prevent the perps' release.

Sad that it has to be that way ... as this monster is a poster child for the DP !

But now the taxpayers will have to provide food, shelter, and medical care until he dies.

What’s the difference between first degree murder and capital murder?

Capital murder has special or "extra" circumstances.

Capital Murder Law and Legal Definition
Capital murder is murder punishable as the most serious category of felony. It is punishable by death. Typically, it involves special circumstances, such as killing a police officer or firefighter while on duty, or committing a muder while committing another serioous felony like rape or kidnapping.

Imo, there haven't been any posts blaming the victim , nor her family.

What is also sad is that the perp has a child. Has he abused his own child as well ? Sounds like he has had a long history of violence.

Thank you for this - I thought I read he was working on a roof? I wonder where that property is ? This is so disturbing on many levels IMO - this poor little girl
I believe his story was probably something like this.

Aunt do you know where Amberly is?

Chris no I have no idea

Aunt well surely you must have seen her

Chris oh wait I was outside working on the trailer and there was a dark suv pulling out of the driveway.

I think that probably sums up that part of the story

ETA all moo

IMO there will probably be more charges. The only thing announced was the cause of death. They didn't go into detail as to anything else that may have happened her that poor girl.
There will be more charges. I promise you!

Being as he lived next door to her aunt and they were family thru marriage, I would say he had quite a few opportunities. Why he chose this time to murder her is my question. Maybe she bit him and it angered him. Could be it was the first time he did anything to her tho.
They WERE NOT family through marriage.
1. Chris Madison’s girlfriend/fiancé is the sister of Amberly’s aunt’s husband.

PLEASE someone explain to me WHY a woman would remain with an animal that did ALL of those horrible things to her? Why would she let him back in her house?
This makes me so sick! If she had left him when he did these things - thrown him out - because I’m assuming the trailer is hers - got away from him - pressed charges until he was locked up - this beautiful innocent precious child would be alive - period. I’m infuriated after reading her statement.
Very good question.
Some women will put up with a man's behavior for odd reasons.
Or maybe, she didn't want to 'lose her man '?

Other possibilities --- One would think she'd be happy to throw him out-- but maybe he threatened to kill her ?
Obviously he's not afraid to murder.

Wonder if he's done other crimes or killed before ?

It's one thing to allow your kids to play dress up...this was not dress up.

Due to TOS, not much more I can say about this.

You know, since the day of Jon Benet Ramsey and probably way earlier in life this has been a conversation. I want to dance carefully around it. I think a child should be a child but on the other hand if by what age they do not have a phone, do not play these games online, do not dress in this way (it gets younger and younger), they are then often bullied or picked on for not fitting in. That actually goes for boys as well.

Talking about makeup or dressing up is another thing or side conversation to that. In an ideal world, an adult should recognize that for what it is. In no way does it mean a young girl or your babysitter if she is experimenting with makeup or dressed up for a dance is she is ready for something or trying to appeal to some old creep or even a young one. And those types would misread anything because they are not "right". Yet there are those that exist like that and always have and always will. Nothing will change that, and as someone said, in most cases, it would not matter what the child looked like.

It is a subject that can be gone into at length no doubt. I can actually contribute to it if it becomes a conversation. In this case, many thought the pictures online had something to do with it. Yet the perp was right next door and has charges from his own "honey""woman" etc. This girl could have probably been alone, hair uncombed and no make-up and it would have made no difference... He does not strike me as the "online" type but I guess that is judgmental based on my just looking at his ugly mugshot.

All that being said, I feel let a kid be a kid and do not introduce makeup and clothing that is too adult, I truly do. Yet a 🤬🤬🤬 adult male looking at any child that way in makeup or not??? Especially when they have children?? That is THEIR problem and nothing will fix them...

Sorry for the rant and not sure I am within TOS but I tried...

My sister actually talked to a detective she knows that worked the scene. I understand why they did not release more details of the murder. The details are really sad!

I can’t even imagine... This makes me heartsick. I just...can’t even.:(

Bio aunt and her husband/bf/whatever (ABs uncle) live in Trailer One. AB lived with them.

The sister of ABs uncle from Trailer One is the person who filed the DV charges against Chris Madison. They lived in the Trailer Two, right next door.

The Trailer2 sister may have called Madison her husband and considered themselves common law (don't know rules in state of AL), but I don't know. Just my thoughts.

I think they lived together before having kids - did website say one child was 10 or so?

mooooo

Thank you, I have read in many posts it was the brother of the husband of the aunt. Now I am reading it was his sister?

She lived in Alabama, not Georgia.
I have family in DeKalb, Fulton and Cobb County. (GA). I am aware of the crime rate but I avoid “crack city”and other known areas. There are pockets of criminal element in counties everywhere in my opinion.

The issue is this 🤬🤬🤬. Did no one know him? Why expose yourself, your children AND other children to him? I just don’t understand.

Evil can be next door in the safest city.

I would also add that she was eleven and he being connected to the family KNEW that! And a father.

I’m just not sure make up or no makeup has any relevance whatsoever in this case! This was a young girl living right next door to a violent predator. To put blame on anybody other than Christopher Madison is misguided at best imo. This guy is a monster!
