Just coming in this morning, is this guy you guys are talking about the POI they are looking for?

That person, IY, is showing as being in custody at Montgomery County Jail as of this morning. Not sure the link or pic is postable but it’s there.

I used a bail bonds search using the name and can confirm somebody with that name is indeed listested as a current inmate however the site i used didn't provide the date they were booked just that they are a current inmate

If this is indeed the man that is involved with Aniah, then I am utterly disappointed he was not behind bars for a long period already, and I hope he has answers everyone is looking for. Now the question is, WHO is Eric? Was it this man posing as Eric? If so, why did he give a false name, or did he use Aniahs phone afterwards?

Whoever is responsible for whatever has happened to Aniah, deserves much worse than life behind bars. It is a shame Walt is not legally allowed to deal with this man however he wants

I don't think he's in custody. My understanding is that a for profit website is showing him as being in custody, but the Montgomery jail inmate roster does not show him as being in custody.

I would be surprised to find that these messages were actually sent by aniah. Something just seems really off about the way she apologizes. and if there is an Eric in the car, where is he now? I'm glad to see they have a potential suspect in custody. hoping they find her today.

Look at the portion of the video where she turns her head a little looking backward, and the legs of the person turn slightly and the person pauses. The pic of the POI shows him turned toward her standing by the door, as evidenced by the caution tripod and shelving with maybe personal care items by the front door. There is nothing good about the way he's looking at her. I'm angry on so many levels that he is out walking the streets.

Notice how the video only starts just after she enters the store? The perp may have made eye contact as soon as she entered, she noticed the evil look and looked away instantly making sure to never make eye contact again, she then used her peripheral to watch him leave the store and turned her head slightly near the end as he left her peripheral vision. This would also explain walt and the FBI guy saying something looked wrong about her.

LE should release the full video, they intentionally cut out the perp and they should release the video of him moving around in the store so we can see how he's acting etc. They should also have released his footage and picture a long time ago imo.

All over SM is naming the POI, as if it is facts but it really has not been confirmed. Regardless, this guy has a really long track records, what the hell. Some people are just rotten to the core.

I do not think that Montgomery County Jail has updated their records for today. They have no arrests listed for today as of 9:10 this morning. If he has been arrested and is in Montgomery County Jail it should show up here: Montgomery County Public Web Search

ETA: He could also be in custody in another jurisdiction.

Even if it's not the person that has been named over and over again, I'm sure LE can arrest him for some sort of violation of probation. With his record, I doubt he changed his life around just now and is behaving. Not to be judgemental, of course, because we do know that some people do change and become productive citizens. I'm just saying, that if LE can bring him in, it would be great, just to make sure if it was or wasn't him.

That video 100% catches the perps full body, notice how the video pans down as aniah moves closer to the camera? That's not the store camera doing that it would be in a fixed position. the police have edited it with software to pan down so we can't see him. Release the unedited footage!

Yeah, I agree. Since the records haven't been updated, I think the websites showing that he's in custody are fake.

Only thing is those sites get their information (mugshots, booking records etc.) from the official sites. So if it's not on the official site, any other site showing a new arrest is probably fake.
