Remains found in Macon County.

Home of the Tuskegee Forest...
The forest has always seemed like the most likely answer in this case.

Such completely heartbreaking news.

People on Webeuths nailed it with their thoughts on where she’d be found.

I guess Squirmey talked. I’m so sorry Aniah won’t be coming home for Thanksgiving.

thank goodness her parents will at least have a measure of closure. This was the likely scenario, they won't have to wonder. Heartbreaking. This world has gone mad

My heart breaks for her family and siblings. She has a 6 year old sister who has cried wanting sissy to come home, other siblings are 13 and I think the older brother is around Aniahs age, who haven’t coped well either. Just so sad and this could have been prevented because these asshats shouldn’t have been out on the street.

Rest in peace, Aniah.

May justice be swift and without mercy.

Guess they raped and murdered her?

Who said that?

Quite a few of us. I know myself, wareeaglemama, and moonriverfarm (or something like that) all talked about it.

The Shorter exit. Ugh. That is a really desolate area, outside of a truck stop and the casino that is always open and closing.

I swear there was a WSsr who posted on here about the shorter exit and they wondered if that was the route taken.

Remains believed to be missing student Aniah Blanchard found, DA says
MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - Skeletal remains have been found in Macon County, confirmed the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation.

Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes said they have good reason to believe the remains are of missing 19-year-old Lee County college student Aniah Blanchard.

[LIVE VIDEO: WSFA 12 NEWS COVERAGE]

Macon County is between Auburn, where Blanchard was last seen, and Montgomery, where her vehicle was found abandoned with her blood inside. Nearly a dozen agencies have been involved in the search for her. The searches were focused in Auburn, Montgomery and the nearly 60 miles in between the two cities.

I bet it was a matter of "who talks first". As soon as they had that second fool, I knew she would be found. Poor girl.

So sorry for this Angel. I am glad she can finally be laid to rest. May her killer or killers rot in hell.
