It's not at all surprising that LE confirmed evidence was found in the car to support foul play. None of the timeline made any sense to any other possibility, especially knowing how short the time frame between her stopping at the Chevron, buying the chips, texting her roommate all in the span of 10 minutes, and only being a short distance from her home.

I suspect LE probably has a lot more information they are going on besides evidence in the car.

Per abcc news 33/40 Reward is now for information leading to arrest of her offender.

Oh yeah, that was really the only viable option here. I think law enforcement is way ahead of where we think they are, and wouldn’t be surprised if the next big news was an arrest.

I think this all happened very quickly, and this guy was pretty sloppy. As a result, I doubt her body is well concealed.

It’s amazing how much we have come to love Aniah without even knowing her. We all need to watch out for others while in public. If you see a girl alone don’t leave until you know she’s safe. We have to ban together to stop this evil from continuing with these precious children.

I have a niece that looks very similar to her and is only a few years younger, My niece and my self are both bi racial like aniah add to that i'm a big UFC fan and have been watching walts recent fights this case really touched my soul. I recently somehow got into watching live trials on youtube guessing from a random recommended video before finding this forum. These cases are so fascinating yet so sad. its made me appreciate life and all the good people out there a whole lot more.

Yup! I wouldn't be surprised if an arrest comes soon. This definitely seems messy and sloppy but, more importantly, hasty, which means things left to be found!

I saw what looks like a single key in her right hand. My car keys are on ring with about 15 other keys. Do most people keep there car key separate from other keys?
I do, my other keys are in my purse.

We are out here and I’ll do whatever I can to protect the children.

I spoke with Auburn Univ today. My freshman is there. After my conversation I felt a sense of calmness. They are on high alert as well and only want to protect the students.

May Aniah’s family receive the news they so desperately need today.

Another thing that is extremely bizarre about those text messages is why on earth would a suspect send messages to her friend implying that she has just met a random guy at 11:30 at night? For all they know she could have a boyfriend and sending such a message would ring even more alarm bells.
Not if that person knew her and the roommate. Random abductions are pretty rare. If this happened at her apartment, I would lean towards someone known to her, or familiar with the complex enough to know she lives with someone.

In cases like this I often fantasize about a rewind button. If only ... one small change in what the MP did at the time they disappeared. We would never know Aniah's name, and her parents lives would not be forever changed.
In this case, if she had a big bag of chips at home

Are you thinking it was the person she knowingly met up with? Or perhaps a completely random stranger who possibly just encountered her in a parking lot or saw her driving and tried to run her of road? I guess it makes more sense to be the person she met but that just seems so foolish because police could fairly easily find out who he is (of on tinder, etc ). Just thinking out loud. I suppose he had to be in the car at some point? Could any blood be from an accident (caused by perp)? MOO

Right now I think it’s the person she met up with. The lack of information leads me to believe they have in fact identified this person, and spoken with him.

If that’s the case, they’re probably waiting on forensics and other evidence.

Gotta hand it to law enforcement here, they’ve minimized leaks.

Agreed. I do think they have already identified the person she met up with and if it's him I hope they are just closing the net. I would think the car evidence was something key.

Feeling awful for her family.

Yeah. I mean, it’s pretty clear that the perpetrator was inside that vehicle.

If there aren’t fingerprints, there’s no way there isn’t DNA.

We have to believe LE has lots to go on...we have to remember that processing the car takes time...reviewing cctv takes time...interviewing people takes time...we know...AB’s life is at the forefront here and LE can not afford to make a mistake. This will be a high profile arrest, charge, trial given the notoriety of WH. LE will want to get it right. We must be patient ... while discussing and sleuthing MOO
ITA. This case reminds me of Kinzie Lueck's disappearance. It took LE some time to sift through all of the digital evidence.

To think that Aniah and her mom(other family members) had just returned from the funeral of a friend that died in a car accident. Then she goes missing the following day? Unbelievable loss and tragedy. Makes this even worse, if that’s possible. Praying for them all today. MOO

Kinzie Lueck was returning from her grandmother's funeral. Their predators are soulless.

Concealed well enough that a week later they haven't found her! I'm heartbroken for her parents. As her Mom said this morning "Aniah is my best friend, she was born on my birthday and we have such a special bond ". :(:(
