There's a half a dozen males with his exact name in the Amarillo (Porter Co) court system, but only 1 of them has a DOB listed (and it's not the same year). Smart Search - Tyler Odyssey Portal So no luck with finding any connection in family court between he and the missing family (long shot, but worth a check).

According to an MCSO news release, deputies were seeking a named 30-year-old man, but said he is no longer a person of interest.

“The person of interest has been found and interviewed by MCSO and is currently no longer a suspect of interest,” the release said.

Juan Antonio Garcia, the mother's ex, is no longer a person of interest. Burch (Mobile County Sheriff) said investigators corroborated his alibi and learned he was out of the state at the time of the disappearance.

"Always, if somebody is close to the victim, they are the first person we look at," Burch told 1819 News. "He has been, for now at least, eliminated."

The sheriff's office said the family is believed to be in extreme danger.

"We were always hopeful that they were still alive and, you know, it's obviously very disturbing that there was a significant amount of blood in the home and a missing mattress," Burch said. "That's always of concern, but we will remain hopeful in that they're alive and will work diligently with our federal partners to locate and return."

While the oldest daughter of Aurelia Choc Cac is begging for answers, authorities continue their urgent search to find her, 17-year-old Niurka and 2-year-old Anthony after they disappeared from their Theodore home.

“Any kind of information. Please, all the community help us out. Please. I beg you,” said Lorena through a translator.

Maurice Simmons, who lives next to the family, told FOX10 News he went inside the home on Saturday after nobody answered, and what he found was shocking, and he immediately called police.

“It was blood throughout the house, but not large quantities. There was obviously some kind of struggle, based on the scene. Mattress was gone, clothes throughout the bedroom that appeared to be dumped out and hampers missing,” said Sheriff Paul Burch.

Sheriff Burch said once investigators arrived, they found no sign of forced entry.

Investigators say the family’s cell phones, credit cards and cash were left behind.

Authorities say they have seen surveillance video that has been very helpful.

Burch also says they noticed tire marks in the front yard of the home and are continuing to gather more evidence.

Maurice and Kim Simmons said the family moved in more than three years ago. They sent pictures as law enforcement took evidence from the home. They say Aurelia doesn’t have a car or drive, and they often help take the kids to school or run errands. Aurelia is a painter for a local subcontractor.

*****
Maurice said he was the one who went into the home when nobody answered Saturday and found things in disarray.

“So we called police immediately,” Maurice said.

Lorena said her mother and siblings’ phones were left inside the home. She pointed out that her sister Niurka, a junior at Theodore High School, now has red hair, showing an updated picture.

*****
Investigators said they questioned the father of 2-year-old Anthony. He was in Texas when the family went missing. He’s not a person of interest, for now. Niurka and Lorena’s father passed away years ago.

Sheriff Burch wants to make clear the family is law-abiding and not targeted for deportation. Homeland Security is helping with the search, not looking to detain them.
