As the parish family continues to come to grips with this horrendous tragedy, yet another emotion has taken control.

"Now i'm angry," Parish said. "I've been hurt, hurt, hurt. But thank you Daphne Police. Now I am angry. Maybe I can get through this now because I am so angry."

honoring the life of 21-year-old homicide victim Brianna
Parish, whose body was found last week in a secluded ditch

Roommate Says Friend Not Killer

The former roommate says he lived with Macdonald for two and a half years and describes Macdonald as a good person who has made some bad choices- including a drug addiction problem. The former roommate chose not to be identified and says Macdonald is not capable of murder. He tells NBC 15 News that Macdonald grew up in Fairhope and attended Fairhope High School. NBC 15 News made every attempt to contact Macdonald for this story but we were unable to track him down. Macdonald's attorney did not return phone calls.

For the second straight day, the Daphne Police Department offered no updates or new information in the search for Brianna's killer. News 5 has learned that a person of interest in the case worked at Daphne Utilities seven years ago and could have worked at the waste-water treatment facility wear Brianna's body was found. Troy MacDonald, labeled by police as a person of interest, worked at Daphne Utilities before he left and went to work at a body and paint shop in Fairhope. MacDonald has not been arrested and hasn't officially been named a suspect in Brianna's death.

The celebration of Parish's life lasted several hours at the Bay Community Church.
Brianna's sister, Miranda Parish, said, "A few of us like myself dressed like her. She always wanted to dress me up."
Her friend of nine years, Lauren Smith, travelled to Daphne from New York City.
She wore what she called a "bling" dress to the service in honor of Brianna's ice skating video on her My Space page.
Smith said, "I wanted to give Bri a really big laugh. I wanted my last moments with her to still be good."

I can't get over LE coming up with this conclusion & even if it was related no one deserves this. Why r LE hurting this family more I can't seem to understand this they r suffering enough.:furious:

I know why. It's the Daphne P.D. we're talking about here. I have the utmost respect for Law Enforcement in almost every case, Daphne being the glaring exception. Don't even get me started!!! They are the most unprofessional, rule-breaking, cocky bunch of jokers!!! AArrrgghhh!! I really hope the FBI is in on this because if it's left up to Daphne, I'd be surprised to see an arrest and conviction. Why haven't they hauled this guy in yet?? He used to work at the wastewater plant where Bri's body was found, for Pete's sake!!!!:furious:

I don't get it either they r a bunch of ********!:furious: Did you catch the interview with his roomate that he is such a good guy etc.? Yet where he worked said he din't come to work the next day, wore shorts all of the time & had scratches all over his legs. It's him it's so obvious I hope the FBI comes & the parents due sue them for what thet have said @ Bri! Cops hung out at this bar all the time too sounds fishy to me. I'll check in a bit & see if there is an update today..Hopefully him being arrested so that this dosen't happen again.

Being in Australia I don't know where you mean . Where is Daphne gosh it sounds like a womans name !

What is wrong with them and why are they so bad ?

I started tearing up reading all the things from her friends and the service

ITS NOT FING FAIR - why do other people have to DESTROY others ? why do they have to look at something and TAKE IT and destroy it for good
WHY DO People have to MURDER the people they rape why cant they wear a mask or put a mask over their victim rape them and LEAVE THEM ALIVE. RAPE Is horrible but Death is worse

Police Have Preliminary Autopsy Results In Brianna's Parish Murder

(DAPHNE, Ala.) Nov. 21 -- The murder of a young woman along the Gulf Coast is still a mystery. NBC 15 News continues to uncover new information about the murder of brianna parish. Daphne Police say they now have a small, but critical piece of evidence. Police said Friday they have the preliminary results back on the autopsy. Mainly, that just includes the cause of death, but it is a start. Investigators aren't releasing the results.

Sylinda Parish, who drove to Baldwin County with her husband from their home in Texas last week after learning that their daughter was missing, said she used her daughter's cell phone records to trace whom she last talked to that evening.

Using those logs, Sylinda Parish and Brianna's friend said they tried to reach the man Brianna Parish had met at Jubilee Lounge.



The friend said the man returned her call Wednesday and told her that he went to Bay House Pub and sat with Brianna in his car for about 30 minutes. She said he told her that he tried to persuade Brianna to go home with him, then let her go and drove away.

I do not believe at all that he let Bri back out of his car after rejecting him. IMO this is what set him off in a rage. I'm sooo furious with the LE for how they have handled this case so far. :furious:

Pray to give her family strength the holidays coming up are going to be so hard for them.raying: No one should have to go through what this family is.

The family of Brianna Parish hopes something good will eventually come out of their loss. Brianna's sister, Miranda, is building a new website to warn young people about the dangers of going out alone at night. The informational website will be called "Brianna's Bond."

"I don't want this to ever happen to anyone else," says Miranda. "I never imagined my little sister would be taken away from me like this."

The website could be up and running in a few days.

He said his daughter's only drug arrest had been thrown out because she had a prescription for the drug an officer found on her during a traffic stop.

Once again, I grew up in Daphne. The police are notorious for illegal searches during traffic stops- especially when a teenaged driver is pulled over. I can't even begin to tell you how many people I know who have been pulled over for imaginary traffic infractions and searched!!! It's practically a young person's rite of passage in Daphne to be arrested!!! I'm not surprised this happened to Brianna and I am outraged about this arrest even being mentioned at a time like this!!! It was a PR stunt at the expense of the victim's families' feelings. It's like they were trying to say, "Of course nice young ladies don't get murdered in our pristine little town on Mobile Bay, only 'bad girls' with prior drug arrests." The Daphne police are a tactless bunch of buffoons. People this unitelligent shouldn't be allowed to carry a badge and a gun:rant:
