The long version of the Chessie interview seems to be hard to find now. I feel like a broken record going over the same stuff and never finding out what really happened to Brittney.

It could be my imagination. I thought at one point she alluded to Donnie not killing himself, like he wouldn't, but then she still seems to claim Donnie must have killed Brittney when she went there to confront him.

Wendy deleted phone messages. Wendy knows where Brittney is. Wendy won't tell her what went down.

See, I still don't believe Donnie killed himself. Did someone else do something to both Donnie and Brittney?

I can see him killing himself if he killed Brittney or was part of the plan to kill her. Also there are a number of pedophiles who do commit suicide before court dates or it publicly comes out so even on his own i can see it.

That said I think it is possible someone else killed both. I am convinved Brittney is not alive now and hasn't been since that night. Who I am not sure of but I see some validity to Chessie saying she was going to confront DH in her opinion. Brittney already spoke out against her own abuse once and may have finally gotten the spark of rage she needed to confront another abuser. or abusers

Especially if she hadn't realized how deep the web of pedophiles ran. She also loved her brother very much and finding out his involvement in it may have torqued her cork. that he was led into sexually abusing children as well.

It all speaks to me of lots of motive to kill her, none for her to run away and a confrontation easily happening. Which DH may have called others to be there for

Lovely home, but I can't see it being Dustin and Mendy's home that they earned and kept up. No way, tell me it ain't so! I, too, see a big G on the back of the front door. Does Dustin come from big money?

Is it possible Dustin Kent does not know the house number where he is living? I do find the last name Kent relating to the house number 7274, not the 7264 on his jail listing.

That really wouldn't surprise me especially if he wasn't really staying there.

There has been some talk on here suggesting that Brittney was possibly involved with the abuse crimes. I prefer to see it another way, and I think the facts are starting to show it.

I believe that Brittney is a hero. I believe that when she reported the abuse against her when she was younger that she started a snowball effect that has led to the success of this current investigation. the only question is did they get to her before she brought them all down or did someone help her get away? I know what I believe.

I am curious who told Chessie that Brittney was abused by these scums? Did Derek tell Chessie or LE?

How dare Chessie call the rape of several children by multiple people 'drama'. Chessie said if LE focused on finding Britt as much as they have on this 'drama' they would have found Brittney by now. This so called 'drama' is real life for several victims. 'Drama' they did not create, it was viciously created for them. I probably should not expect Chessie to choose her words wisely. She insulted the victims. Which makes me even more suspicious of her involvement. An innocent person would not insult an innocent child abused by multiple family members by calling their rape 'drama'. Chessie's true colors are shining through, imo.

I think it was the uncle telling on everyone that started everything

"I begged you, Wendy, to tell me where my daughter is, and you won't," Wood said. "Please tell me where my daughter is." (From Chessie's latest press conference.)

Which begs the question, how does Chessie know that Wendy has knowledge of Brittney's location? Did Chessie go to LE with that information? Does Chessie have information about a crime that she has not disclosed to LE? Remember when Chessie was criticized for being with Wendy, and Chessie said "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer". Does she really think she can get info from Wendy? Is she just throwing this out there to get the spotlight off herself?

Wouldn't it be great if they killed themselves BEFORE molesting kids? :)
C'mon God, do us a solid!

<modsnip>...

I just think that when a person makes a decision to report abuse inflicted upon them that is a moment of a complete change in their life. She wanted to get away from that lifestyle.
The abuse that has been going on in this family, has likely been going on for Generations!! like 100's of yrs! BUT Brittney may have actually been brave enough to put a stop to this and alter the future of the Wood clan forever.

I agree and it started with getting her daughter away from it all. I believe it goes back to the Chessie's parents. Maybe even as far back as Chessie's grandparents. We know about grandmas jailbird husband and Brittney. It is called generational sin. I believe Brittney was a brave young lady. Brittney stopped it once and put the responsible scum in prison. I don't believe she would turn a blind eye to the abuse of a child. I think she was the one to put an end to the generational sin and unfortunately she was likely murdered for it. I'm not convinced Brittney was abused by anyone in this sick group. That's why I asked how Chessie found out Brittney was also a victim. Did Derek tell her, LE, who?

Steph, do you know the answer to my question? How does Chessie know Brittney was victimized by this sick group? TIA

As far as I know she didn't report THEM! She HUNG out with these peeps or should I say CREEPS!

And I think we have to go back and read the reports of when she was a child
the minister reported it yes? Or someone else did..

She didn't end this Scott did.
she left. and so did DH! Both in Different ways AFAIC....

Im sorry if I don't agree with most( if not all of you) but I see a very different picture here. I think she left. I believe she had to give custody to the babys father or she would have lost her to CPS.... All JMO....

I have read nothing anywhere that BW went to LE and reported anything and she could have. From her Mother to her brother to her aunts and uncles her cousins and friends.... Its a very long list!

Just my :twocents:

There's no denying that everyone said Uncle Donnie was Brittney's favorite uncle. That mystifies me because everyone also describes him as a demon. Why'd Brittney want to hang around him? That's odd to me. What brought them together closer than the others? I've always wondered if drugs, or something else, was involved as a hobby or side business. I would consider some kind of money making endeavor that needed to be hushed.

Funny how all the family members seem to be perfectly fine with the story Donnie must have harmed Brittney then killed himself. The only one that put a kink in that story is Donnie's son who says Brittney was alive after Donnie was in the hospital.

I don't know if Brittney had a chance to be a hero. Chessie is now guiding us to think Brittney went there to confront Donnie, to be a hero, and Chessie is suggesting probably Donnie killed Brittney. That's the picture Chessie is painting. IMO.

I hope this is an appropriate question.

Why would a young woman like Brittney want to hang around some older perv like Donnie?
