First five lines of letter, in my very amateur opinion:

FROM (typed, and name that follows whited out.)

Jennifer Chessy, Mendy, Don are
some of Brittney's family members the girl has said
to them, x 4 more have helped them.
She's naming us all four likely tomorrow.
Just think of all they want her to tell.

I know Jennifer's not a family member, but that's what the name looks like. Or Jamie?

Yeah, the video shows a picture of it. Hold on, I think I have a screencap...

The news article informs this...

http://tablet.fox10tv.com/10001/151...ile-county/letters-point-to-motive-for-murder

Snipped:
In a letter obtained by FOX10 News apparently written to Donald's wife, the sender writes "Brittney wrote a letter with a lot of evidence on it pertaining to Jennifer, her, you, Mendy, and (child victim). She said if anything happened to her to give it to the police."

The letter goes on to say, "(no-name) is scared to give the letter up," and "you need to … get that letter that Brittney wrote. This can seriously (expletive) you up."

BAM! I came up with something similar but couldn't figure out "Don". I had issues getting the adjectives. The iphone technique really works though. Great job!!!1

Here's my issue: The person who has this letter, how the hell did they manage to confide in someone (who has now told Wendy) and yet no one else has heard? Seems to me that everyone talks to each other and not much is secret. Very strange for 18 months. No telling when this letter was written or when it was sent to WEndy

I am thick as two short planks, I really am. If I had noticed they were actually quoting bits of the letter and not just summing up, I could have saved myself a lot of figuring out!

So bottom line is we have no idea what that letter says until it is released?

Read that and it sounded snotty. Was only trying to get a gauge on how clearly/certain everyone was of what they were seeing. I can't read any of it except maybe "baby" at the end.

Even worse, I DID know. I posted about it last page.

I just forgot I knew. :(

KKKKK

Everyone get your I Phones
Turn on your cameras!
Look at the letter with your camera and tilt it different ways
you can almost read it.

All Apple products work great like this to autofocus and slant, etc, plus to be able to perfectly adjust the backlighting and adding hd is great. I was able to find handcuffs on a human trafficking victim believed to be Amy Bradley using this technique, and changing colors, accounting for artifacting...even though black marker was wiped over her wrists on the picture before being uploaded the dumbazzes... We could actually zoom in & define the chains around this persons wrists. Amazing.

It may work even better if someone has a good digital camera with auto focus...

I jumped ahead a couple of pages, so I hope this hasn't been discussed.

Couple things about the letter. The handwriting looks like a female's to me. It was NOT written by Chessie, because she couldn't spell her way out of quicksand. It was written by someone far more educated than anyone in the immediate Wood clan. None of them are the brightest stars in the sky, especially when it comes to eloquence and grammar.

Who is this person?? And who has the letter, but is scared?

I am definitely happy about so many recent developments -- and I think that we can possibly push that "SHE'S ALIVE OUT THERE!!" notion further away than ever from any kind of logical, rational theory.

She denies it, but knows it was written neatly and had good grammar. She must be psychic too.

It was on the news video. I doubt they took the time to re-write it, or correct the grammatical mistakes that it might've entailed. Looked like a copy of the real deal to me.

If LE is going to reopen Donnie's death investigation they are taking the letter seriously.

  • #1,218
JMO, I think LE has had this letter for quite awhile. It's possible one of the reasons they've stated they don't believe Brittney is alive, and even mentioned as possibly murdered.

Ill try to be as vague as possible, there's a fb page open, that hasn't shown nearly as much as its showing now, whats left of it has some telling info, put that together with who the letter writer maybe and it leans to scott.
I cant say anymore without possibly breakind tos and getting a time out.
It shows that victims can still express "love" to their abusers. VERY SAD indeed.

I saw the exact same thing, and it killed me. I wondered why it was suddenly so wide open.

ETA: Sorry for covering stuff that was talked about pages ago! It was one of those "I've got to say it now or else I'll forget!" moments. :)

I'm so glad that Brittney has us, at least, who care constantly about her. If something ever happened to me, mysteriously, I would hope that no one would let me be forgotten. (I'm pregnant again, so stuff's making me particularly weepy!!)

Read back a few pages. That was part of a series of jokes.
