I'm wondering if the 5.27 Facebook exchange was part of the setup. Much more was shared according to FOX10 and I'm certain any details shared between the two verifies that the exchange is a valid exchange between who it is supposed to be between and not other family members at those devices that initiated the exchange. But honestly, misspellings and double constantants at ends of words seems to be a common trait between many. So I'm not convinced it was an honest exchange of information still.

And Chessie couldn't use that exchange as proof of the confrontation story, until LE "discovered" them. (is that correct?) And yet Brittney is said to have continued to use her FB on 5.28 and 5.29 but never responded again to requests for her phone # it appears in the video of that.

You are correct from what I recall.

I have always felt that the exchanges were fake in one way or another. It makes zero sense that the victim would facebook Brittney that stuff if they were in child porn together - as victims together with some of the very same people who've been mentioned. Given the relationship that RSW and the victim had (Im not talking about the sexual assault) - she behaved publicly fond of him and close, vice versa. So the tone of the message from the victim to BW doesn't make sense in that direction either. I really am trying to be cautious in how I'm wording this, I don't want to be offensive or make it seem as though Im stating the victim was OK with anything. I think this behavior was so beyond normal - that the term "rape" would be used to describe something that was violent. Does that make sense? It was normal, these relationships were normal within the family and that's why it went on so long, because why would you report something that you view as OK and that's just how your family is? I do wonder if the victim had a friend that came over and either she confided to that friend about RSW or the friend was given drugs etc and told someone after the fact.

Something happened that caused the word rape to enter the picture and people to separate. I don't see it as someone having "enough" of whatever was going on. I see it as either an outside influence or my theory that RSW became jealous when he found out about Dustin and the victim. I believe with all my heart that RSW was in love with the victim and considered their relationship to be that of one we would all consider boyfriend/girlfriend.

The inbox msg to Brittney feels to me like a fake and a set-up and that she sensed it for being that way. Again, because she was in child porn with that particular victim and it wouldn't make sense why suddenly she would fb her and say these things that they already knew to be true. They weren't revelations to Brittney. If it wasn't a set-up by family then it was one by LE.

I doubt it was called rape either, amongst the fellow victims, if they discussed it at all I would be more apt to believe they referred to it as "so and so" "messing" with me or whoever else.

Review the charges on RSW carefully with what we know of Alabama rape (specific gender requirements.) I don't see that RSW has been charged with rape on a relative, iow. also treading carefully.
Leave possibility that I am interpreting his charges incorrectly, too, though.

I posted these photos because we all know how vital press conferences are and how charged emotionally they can be. We watch for reactions, true tears and raw feelings. I noticed none of this with Chessie, just her motion to wipe away, sound sad and yet her face had no indication of crying. no red nose, no swollen eyes.. nothing. Oh and no wetness from tears either. You would expect something like this at a memorial.

Also, Mendy is there and I thought Wendy was too but I couldn't spot her. I chose to block out the faces of those that might not want to be associated forever with her.

Isn't that Wendy on the far left who is holding hands with someone? I can't see her face, but her body type looks just like Mendy's.

Sorry O/T I just a few hours ago watched on Id a case it was either one where a girl shot her best friend in the head twice solved like 20 years later or it was the one where a young girl is murdered by her bf's parents i think in this case her name was rose i believe anyway it took place in mobile alabama which i guess is the same at where britts from if i get the names ill add to it..

I don't think it was meant or said to down play what happened, but how it's viewed among them. I don't think the victim wrote that message to brittney, it doesn't make any sense what so ever and her facebook account was probably being accessed at that time by others (whether Wendy herself or le). It read like bait. but then again Im a paranoid person lol

I think the bottom line is that it was all rape but they we are talking about a groomed situation of generational victims, it was talked about amongst them and the phrasing typically used to be dismissive is "messin' with".

I'm treading really lightly here to keep this my comments alive I assure you I don't mean to be evasive or crude or downplay.

@teeandcee it was a facebook inbox exchange made between a victim (which one is unknown) to Brittney, a few days before she went missing. This was made public via a Fox exclusive with Andrew Perez. I believe it was during the same special that Chessie, her husband Paul and TJ were present and Chessie explained too why she declined ever taking a polygraph exam.

I get things muddled but do note that I'm positive it was aired on TV and that's how we know. No one here sleuthed it, so it's ok to discuss.

Also, I took screen shots of "memorial" footage that Andrew Perez shot/interviewed of Chessie. I made sure to take a screen capture of before Chessie wiped away a tear and after. She never once cried. not once. not even once.

So ... are you suggesting CW was forced to file the missing person's report for BW because LE, when searching for info about DH's last contacts, couldn't make contact with BW and CW couldn't produce her so CW had to make a decision and that resulted in filing a missing person's report? hmmm And that was the reason for CW's delay in reporting/filing the missing person's report? hmmm

Just when I've totally written off the BW-could-be-alive-and-out-there-somewhere-theory, you bring up something else that makes me go hmmmm.

I lean towards the messages being authentic, at least from the victim writing to Brittney. I do question whether Brittney is the person responding. I can see why many believe the messages could have been bait and I agree it is feasible. I just don't believe this group is that smart. I mean LE found handwritten letters. Why would anyone keep these letters to leave around as evidence, talk about stupidity. Although, I am thankful for their stupidity because the letters imo have helped seal their fate and support the victims stories.

Also, I don't think we can conclude the victim writing the FB messages is the same victim seen in the video with Brittney. There are many victims in this case, including Donnie Jr and Derek. Correct me if I am wrong, but we don't know who is seen in the video with Brittney. IIRC, LE did not reveal the other victim in the video.

I really despise using the word victim. This group of monsters may have had control at one time, but thank goodness that time has ended. I would much rather use the word survivor because that is what they are now. Survivors who are now holding the reigns. God bless the survivors!

I can't imagine a victim writing that info on such a public forum as Facebook. But who knows, maybe that was intentional, as kind of a sideways way of exposing them. Or maybe B had put out feelers or said something......oh, this could go on and on. I haven't had enough coffee yet to think this deeply.

BBM Yes, thank you that was what was meant by my post. That the victims (who are reportedly long term over periods of time) would more likely when discussing the sexual abuse among themselves use the term messing with - downplaying. Thank you for explaining. It was not meant to downplay. As a survivor who dealt with a long term molestation issue, I know that I and others who were in similar circumstances, at those ages referred to it as being "messed with" not abused or raped. Even as we knew what it truly was, it was easier to cope with if we called it being "messed with".

I too am a little confused as to why a victim who had been victimized on video years prior would then "confide" recent rapes by the same perpetrators to a person as if they were revealing a secret to Britt when Britt likely knew that the victim reaching out had been a victim, had continued to be a victim and was still a victim. Something off about it.
