I wish the mail could have used the 'hunters look out for Brittney' poster. That was a great opportunity to get the word out to the right people that they could be keeping their eyes open for her.

There are many people who could be responsible and imo benefit from any negativity this could bring AJ. The possibilities are endless, but how many in this pool of candidates helped publish an article with the same media outlet accusing their sister of murder merely a day before releasing the article about AJ? Are these back to back stories really a coincidence?

Someone supplied the Daily Mail pictures for the article on Chessie accusing her sister? There are several pics included in the article on AJ. Who supplied the Daily Mail the pictures in the article about Brittney?

Are you talking about the recent article with AJ? Those pics came from social media. I know the autograph pic was up on DK or MKs FB before, as I saw it there. I'm sure the other pic(s) probably could be sourced in same fashion (FB, MySpace, Twitter, etc).

jns207- those are my thoughts exactly on this whole ugly mess. SO tragic for all of the innocents that have been affected by this vile group.

This may be a bit off topic; but I think it's fine to witch hunt those that are very close to the perps in this case (husbands, wives of the accused) but it's pretty low to go after people who most likely didn't know their uncle, cousin is a pedophile - just to ruin their career and tarnish their image as a person so that they are very isolated and seen as "unclean". Implying it's OK to do so because they *might* be the source of funds for atty fees of one of the pedophiles without one ounce of proof is destructive, catty and ruthless.

If I read and misunderstood all of this football talk, I deeply apologize. I tend to get my posts alerted so I don't see this sticking around. I am totally confused by the recent discussions, and what I just posted is what I took away from it all.

I know we all want justice and we all want MSM's to pick this up. I have pushed from the start to go even trashier route aka Wilko's show. Because at least for a drama queen like Chessie, the amount of confrontation and urging to take a poly would put her in the hot seat and humiliate her to the point SOMETHING might come out. I'm a Chicagoan, and I happen to like Steve, so I'm a tad biased ;). It blows me away that huffingtonpost doesn't update often with this or that foxnews in general isn't talking about it. I think it's so seedy, so mind blowing and surreal - that no one wants to touch it. I really do think that at times there are situations that run that deep. There are child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 rings that net 300+ people (one was recent) and it had gotten nothing much more than a blurb.

It hurts even more that Chessie rendered a lot of good that could have come from many volunteers. Klaas (I am trying to remember, so this won't be 100% accurate), began to pull away from any further searches because Chessie wasn't being honest and began wasting the foundations efforts and time. This right there was enough to let me know, she knows and she's been protecting whomever is guilty this entire damn time.

Just please consider this desire to out football teams, or whatever this discussion is in regards to Dustin's family who may not have any knowledge of his behavior at all (Im sure there's even victims within his family because he didn't just start 3 years ago) and are so humiliated and hurt by this too. Families of these perps, who have nothing at all to do with the crimes committed are victims. Correct?

I completely agree . . . words can't even express it. :(

I thought this was common knowledge already. It was just that media outlets had chosen not to run the story.

I am from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but live in Louisiana. All of my friends and family live all over the state of Alabama and are die hard Bama fans. No one that I know has any idea who Brittney Wood is or about the Wood family sex ring. MOO the only people that know about this case are those on WS and those around the Mobile area. I continue to post Britt's missing person's poster on my fb so they will know about Brittney. She deserves publicity but not a smear campaign on AJ.

Just thinking out loud... I think I remember reading that Dustin Kent's attorney was a big backer for Auburn. Does anyone else remember reading this?

I hope that this recent article will not surface on the big media sources because of AJ right now. It could possibly bring light to Brittney's case but I am afraid that some football people will be so outraged that it might have a negative effect.

AJ can either acknowledge it or ignore it either way It's not going too affect him! At least imo as long as he plays good football that's all the fans care about! Not what his mom's brother and his wife's family is involved in!

When is the final decision made on the Heisman (sp?) award? TIA

ITA. But when Daily Mail calls and says they're doing a national story on Brittney, and you agree to be interviewed with or without your attorney present, and you supply a picture of a 5 year old Brittney, that could have been anyone of the three in the article. Mom, StepMom, Aunt.
That (or who) got the Daily Mail reporter in Mobile (and which was first.). It wouldn't take much for him to find anyone that could hook him up with the photos for the AJ story. I remember the signed autograph one. I probably saw the holiday photo, too, but I saw hundreds of family photos.

My family photos at holidays are good for me to review later to try to figure out how those people are my family. I have many generations and mom/stepmom/siblings/stepsiblings and then their children and grandchildren at mine. I did find this on the unrelated famous family member: http://youtu.be/ZxSvrcUx5xg
Have your tissue ready. I am still on the fence who to root for the Heisman, but it surely isn't going to be arrogant Aggie.

I agree with you but I have read comments on another site and alot of people feel that he should have said something about Brittney missing. I think their thoughts are that because of his popularity he could draw attention to Brittney missing and that is a possibility BUT I totally understand why he would want to distance himself from his uncle. Can't blame him, he is a good guy and has a bright future.

Given what we have seen ...

Why hasn't someone been able to trick one of these W numbskulls and/or
friend boneheads into giving up info / confessing?

It doesn't seem like it could be that difficult. JMO

This is just my own opinion. Football has nothing to do with what happened to Brittney, or Derek, or any of the victims of those arrested. It just so happens some football player has a strange relative, as many of us might have a weird uncle or aunt.

Some people earn Honors, and some people earn Jail Sentences.

I've seen on sports forums those pictures of the signed photo pasted from DK's Facebook. Also links to a msm article in Jan 2013 where the younger brother of AJ talks about being cared for by an 'Uncle Dusty' when growing up, as he didn't have daycare.

I think the 'links' were already out there and - at least in the instance above - put there by close family of the football player. The local media just chose not to run them. The Daily Mail ran this story first because it does not have to rely on local support, as other publications do. Others will follow now, I think.

When Brittney's found, this media coverage will die away. Until she is, it's helping her and her little girl. They are the ones who have my support, as they are the ones who need it most, I think. Toddlers can't speak for themselves, and neither can the deceased. :(

Oh no! That post makes me look as though I'm calling attorneys numbskulls and boneheads! Not what I meant, honest!

ETA. Dangit Quester, pics never bump when I'm trying to make them do so!
