So DH gets dropped off at one of their properties by his wife. Gets out of her car, gets into his car? Then wife returns with her twin sister & finds him. That does seem odd.

Huh? Are you sure? I could swear I read that he dropped WWH & the kids off at a friends before heading back to the house. How else would he have been able to kill himself in his vehicle? I read that WWH & MWK drove to the house to check on him an hour & a half later, only to find him dead from a suicidal shot.

The idea that Donnie shot himself with a shotgun was logistically difficult to picture. Now we find out he did it in a truck? I guess it could happen...

No neighbors heard anything?

My thoughts exactly.

Tell me about it.

Even crazier that there's rumor his wife wants it detailed? What's left of it? Well, maybe there's still a lot of payments left on it so it's cheaper to clean it up & keep it than to just let it go? Idk...

Actually, I'm pretty sure the original story went like this:

WWH and the boys spent the night at Styx River location with DH, where they did not see BW. The next morning WWH dropped DH off at home in Fairhope, then went to drop the kids off at a friend's house. She came back 1.5 hr later and discovered DH with a gunshot wound.

The story seems to have changed several times since then. JMO

There have been no media updates since the reports about the 2 uncles being arrested.

From what the mod posted yesterday, I don't believe we're allowed to discuss the victims of the sexual abuse. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

S as in plural? Wow... Any idea how many?

Omgosh this pees me off! I wanna shout f so bad but I'm up to $38 in my swear jar & have to give my kids $100 each if I hit $50 by the end of the month...so I'll just think it instead dangit! :D Would you please care to enlighten me as to why the police haven't confiscated it for evidence? Suicide or not, it's still considered a murder scene & has to be processed accordingly. Especially considering that he dropped WWH & the kids off at a friends before driving to the house & shooting himself. She & MWK found him 1.5 hours later, which is a short enough time to cast enough suspicion to freaking process that vehicle accordingly. She shouldn't have possession of it at all, even if it's their only vehicle. If I were Chessie, I p!$$ a b!+¢+ to the le handling that suicide.

Where's the lawyers? Surely somebody's gonna step up dontcha think? This is ridiculous. With the potential of becoming a case used for new case law, this could be a wanna be famous lawyer's dream come true. Britt's mom & dad have rights to protect the integrity of their daughter's case & are deserving of a good lawyer, a lawyer that will help guide them in the right direction.

It must have been in another post that I said LE had taken possession and searched it, then returned it to her. It was then that was going to get it detailed. Sorry for the confusion.

I remember, but then how did he get in their truck if she had it? If she truly had it but then Donnie ended up dead inside of it, the police would definitely have it bc she wouldn't have been ruled out from his death so quickly (if she really was considered lol). He had to of had his truck if he shot himself in it IMO. I can't see any other way for him to have succeeded, unless they had more than one vehicle and she dropped him off in her vehicle? Nothing makes sense.

Thank you so much. I was freaking out inside thinking they didn't process it accordingly. Their (your) ME's office is a busy office & it's fair to say they see a lot of crime, so I truly hope nothing was looked over too quickly. Ya know?

WWH's story has definitely been confusing. What I have been told is DW was at the Styx River house when he shot himself in his vehicle. She and MWK found him unconscious and called 911. I know this conflicts with her story, and I can't explain why there would be any reason to not tell the truth about that.

Does your hubby get a lot of vehicles to clean due to suicides? If so, does the vehicle come from le or does he go to the vehicle & tow it to where he'd clean it? I'm still so very curious why this vehicle wasn't processed as a crime scene.

Hey Jersey, sorry, I'm working my way backwards! My husband actually paints cars for a living but has actually had to repair the OUTSIDE of cars, due to suicides and homicides, before painting. However, when "suicide" cars come in all the guys in the shop generally pitch in and help each other since it isn't the most enjoyable job by any means. They also help each other with the frequent wildlife accidents where there are still "parts" in the grill of the car. Sorry to type that!

Anyway, I would be highly surprised if the vehicle was NOT processed before being turned back over to the wife. That's SOP. However, I doubt, JMO, that it was processed as a murder scene when it seems like LE AT THAT TIME thought it was a pretty "cut and dry" suicide in the beginning.

I'm not saying that I think they SHOULD have returned the vehicle, just stating what I think happened.

After it is returned to the family they can do whatever they want with it, and you'd be surprised at the things people are willing to buy for a good price, regardless of the history, if they're even made privy to that information.

Zeaus,
Has there been talk of a reward being offered for information on finding BW?

  • #292
I believe that is when they were searching the Styx River area. The quarry I mapped is less than a mile from the Grand Bay tower where her phone last pinged. As far as we know ground searches have not been done in this location - only door to door canvassing.

Z - please correct if I'm mistaken.

I hope this will be announced on the news tonight... KlaasKids is conducting a ground search tomorrow covering a 5-10 mile radius from the cell tower where BW's phone last pinged. They're planning to have cadaver dogs.

I just looked and now know who you are talking about (TSH). I think she is probably WH's sister-in-law and BW's paternal aunt (in-law). Just a guess given she has surname as her middle name & her last name matches WH's.

She was the one who was grilling WWH about trying to hack into BW's cell phone & obtain her phone records! LOL!

:floorlaugh:

Lol! She's awesome! I remember first reading her posts & saying to myself You go girl, say it like it is, oh yeah, point for the good guys, another point for the good guys, another, another lol she's great!

JMO, most people around here each have their own vehicle. Everything is kind of spaced out (more so in Baldwin County than the part of Mobile BW is from) and public transportation isn't huge here like it is in big cities. Cars are pretty much a necessity, so if either one of them had a job and they also have kids to drive around then they would most likely have two vehicles.

He shot himself in a car with a shot gun? I'm not doubting you can commit suicide with a shotgun, it's possible. But in a car? I may have to do my own experiment when DH gets home, I'm much too small to get even close to the same results he could. Maybe he propped the butt up on the passenger side door?

Any idea if any windows are missing?

I saw on DH's FB page that he deer hunts, maybe he uses a shotgun and used a slug and that is why he didn't get immediate death as you'd expect with a shotgun shell. Off to look up deer hunting regs in Alabama.

Just to give some perspective of MPD. I have some experience dealing with them regarding a couple of situations where parents were concerned about the safety and/or location of their children. In every case, the child was a drug user of some type. From the moment that was divulged to the police, they were pretty much done. They give some nice little speech about how they see it everyday, and you might believe your child needs you but they don't. They are off somewhere getting high and you just need to get over it, and wait for them to show back up or call. I am not saying that this is the case with BW, but I have seen them in do this in a very frightening situation where the child called their parents crying and screaming and the call was disconnected. The MPD just did not care. I hope they are doing more for BW that we just aren't seeing. I know in the Mickey Shulnick case LE gives a lot of updates and information, atleast you tell they are doing something.

No worries. We don't even point unloaded guns at people. But I will see if it is possible to fit a shotgun in there.

I checked hunting regs for Alabama you can deer hunt with shotgun or rifle. Most people deer hunt with a rifle if it is an option, but maybe he hunted for birds, too. I'm just struggling to understand all of this, if he was an avid hunter did he not have a handgun? I prefer suicides (especially in cars) to be done with a handgun it doesnt make me wonder as much.
