To me this shows he was not the one to drive her there and i think Uncle donnie shot hiself on thursday!

Maybe I'm reading too much or not enough, but I think they're saying BW got to Grand Bay prior to DH shooting himself and they have no reason to think she had left Grand Bay and returned to Styx River. They say it puts her "in" Grand Bay, not "arriving" there. To me, that could mean she had arrived before he shot himself and was still there (Grand Bay).

It might be a way of saying they don't believe she had anything to do with his shooting.

I know which post you are referring to and I believe at that point it was one of the "alleged" sightings by a neighbor that later was unable to be verified.

Of course... that could also be another diversion seed planted from that camp. Especially since we have been told this is only the "tip of the iceberg" with respect to that "other" investigation. KWIM?

I believe that the family member is talking about the sighting by the neighbor of the similar looking girl in the swing, which turned out to not be Brittney. (all speculation and MOO)

Which just tells me there were other people involved in her "disappearance". Wish we had more news.

How do they know DH was committing suicide at that time again , I think I missed that

That seems like a reasonable guess based in what we know.

But they say they didn't give her a ride? I wonder if they said she asked for a ride! What she said to her friend at 12:07 would be a huge clue as to what happened imo

DH could have been there (wherever the heck it was that he was shot) for minutes or hours before he was "discovered". Since he wasn't dead ME would not be looking for a TOD to establish a timeline of events.

Which reminds me... have we heard any official (errr.. indisputable) word about the location of his truck at the time of the shooting? Was it in Fairhope or Styx?

I think one of the news reports from last night said Styx River, but I'm getting confused.

At 1:15 in this video, it reports that it's believed that Donnie gave Brittney a ride to the truck stop. FWIW
