Dion, this is MOO, but I can't help thinking there's more to it than protecting her husband's secrets. I think she's protecting some secrets of her own. I have no proof of anything, but her inconsistent statements, the deleting of texts and voicemails, her anger toward extended family, all seems to be connected to BW. That just makes me suspicious. Again, this is MOO.

I do know at least some of her parents (I consider her as having 4 parents including the step-mom and step-dad) have been asking LE to look at WWH from the beginning of the investigation due to the same things we've talked about here.

This is what I think as well.

On that note, how did they survive? Who works where? Does WWH have any kind of income? Nobody in their right freaking mind would grab their very soon to be DEAD husband's cell & start deleting stuff from it, then attempt to break a missing Brittney's passcode to get into her cell records! I could give a crap what her excuse is at this point. If her mouth is moving, I'm just gonna play it safe & automatically assume she's lying, bc quite frankly not a damn thing she's said has made sense!

Knowing how the lack of money plays a part in their lives, I do wonder if Donnie had a life insurance policy on himself, even of it was a small one that he got free from his job...

Zeaux, question for ya :)

Did the underage victim contact le herself/himself to report the molestation/rape/sodomy/incest allegations, or did her parents handle that call? I'm sort of wondering if the victim was the one to handle that call or report, then maybe they're not a child anymore but wanted to report what had happened previously. If it was the parents of the victim that made the initial contact with police, then that would mean the victim is still underage, otherwise police wouldn't speak to the patents at all unless the victim wanted them there (if the age of victim is 18 or over). Plus, I'm really bothered by the sodomy charges against these alleged perps. Sodomy? My mind automatically went to the victim being a male, even though both sexes would be possible, but it's weird to me bc most pedophiles that choose a female would do so for their virginity & prepubescent adolescence, therefore sodomy isn't as common. However, boys chosen would involve sodomy. It sort of makes me wonder if the victim actually is a female, if maybe the sodomy part of it all is some morbid kind of initiation. Sick to think like that... Also, as a side note to these charges - whenever a child accuses an adult of something serious such as this, they would see a doctor and that doctor would assess the child victim. If the victim doesn't show signs of sexual abuse, in this case sodomy, then it would be noted. Most of the time in these cases, such proof would be given to le before their official charges are places on the perps. Then it's brought up in court for the doctor to take the stand & be questioned by the defense & the prosecution.
I really don't know. I don't think I know anything more about the victim than you all do. Sorry.

I hope that LE has been investigating her since it was brought out that some in the family has been providing confusing and contradictory information, something even LE has acknowledged (Although alleged on my part I do believe they were talking about her and MWK). It would be like staring at the elephant in the room as it blows loudly through its trunk then claiming that it doesnt exist.

Exactly!

What is so important on that phone that that is what you'd do first thing? Obviously there's something there. Hopefully LE was able to retrieve the deleted messages.

Maybe there should be fliers with HER picture asking "What is this woman hiding about the disappearance of BW?"

I totally agree with you!
and i think most here do also!

I wonder if PI's ever work for free?

I think that should be "MWK" not "MWH." That stands for Mendy Wood Kent, Dustin Alton Kent's wife and Brittany's aunt.

Touche!! Thanks for clearing that up, friend. An oversight on my part.

Yes, I made the correction. Sorry!

I think it would be interesting to see who called WWH and who WWh called

I like that idea, Zeaux. I have believed from early on that WWH has more to do with BW's disappearance than she has let on. I believe her statements have been the most misleading or "contradictory". Ofcourse that is, largely, my opinion but as more details are being discovered it is being turned into fact.

Added note: This post is not sleuthing the victim. I'm wondering if this is one of the reasons Brittney is missing and, if so, then how does she tie into all of this...
...and this is what concerns me about the 2 who are charged so far being out of jail. I know, and love the fact, that in America you are innocent until proven guilty. However, for charges like this to be filed and then for announcements to be made by LE that the investigation includes "horrific" crimes, leads me to believe that some strong evidence exists. Of course there are those instances where even strong evidence turns out to be incorrect and innocent people were falsely accused, but this usually is not the case. I personally believe LE has convincing evidence such as physical injury, photos/videos or even DNA supporting the charges. I know LE cannot disclose everything, but as a public safety issue the story needs to be followed in the media and monitored by victim advocacy groups because these men, who more than likely have strong evidence against them, are currently living with the rest of society. I know everyone has the right to a fair trial, but personally it still scares me. I really hope law enforcement is keeping and eye on their where-abouts and maybe even using tracking devices (but I'm not sure if thise are only done for convicted criminals). DH was under investigation and it certainly doesn't seem anyone was keeping track of him. But I could be wrong, maybe he was being tracked and that is how they now know he gave BW a ride the day she left her house. Maybe LE just disclosed this. Who knows. But I'm just saying that it is unsettling that we have a teenager missing and those charged back in society. It's just another reason why I feel this entire story needs attention. If I lived in south Alabama/ West Florida I would certainly be very concerned.

Do we have enough info that it would be useful to look at all the inconsistent statements WWH has made in one place? Kind of like the timeline but just in regard to WWH?

It seems the inconsistencies and deleting done by WWH is to make it seem that BW and DH did not see each other prior to his death. Is that right? And if so, why? Why would she not want it known they were together? Because she did something to BW? Or DH did something to BW?

She says DH got a call from BW on Wed. Then she says it was Thurs. Which was it? She says she and the boys were with DH on Thursday. I almost think the clue to figuring this out is to take the opposite of what she says.

I think that a list of just her stated inconsistencies and maybe the evidence that shows her statements to be inconsistent would be very helpful. The whole deletion of messages on DH's phone and "attempted" hacking of BW's phone, whether successful or not, steps into a completely separate dark and mysterious place. Especially considering she did this so quickly after the suicide and BW's disappearance. Believe the latter could be considered illegal as well.

Right! And just the fact that it seems she should have been grieving her husband and not doing all these weird things and posting online. I can't imagine losing my husband and then being online posting things and setting the record straight. My energy would be on my children and the loss of my husband.

I know I am just echoing the sentiments of many here but I cant help but question what was so important on DH's phone and BW's phone that WWH would risk being placed under arrest, for tampering with evidence, just to delete.

For those in the Mobile area, you may be interested in attending this on Saturday. It was written today by CW (BW mom) and posted on the Hometown Search for Brittney FB page. Let's help get the word out!!!!!!*

Here is the information regarding Saturday:

CW *"We r having a bucket drive this saturday for reward money that will b givin to crimestoppers to help us get answers about Brittneys disappearance ! We need all the help that we can get ! If u can help please let me no ! We need to find my baby !! She is very missed and loved !!"

The Hometown Search for Brittney Wood: "The Bucket Drive will be at the Walgreen's in Tillman's Corner on Three Notch Road at 10 a.m....That's the meeting place but we are hoping there will be enough that we can cover a lot of the intersections."

Also, don't forget there is a bank account set up at Compass Bank called "Brittney Wood Donations" that anyone can donate search funds to. I have been informed that all the funds will be directly used for finding BW and that it is managed by a non-family member. You will also be given a receipt for your donation.*

PS : for those inquiring, a bucket drive is when an organization locates itself on the sidewalks of main intersections, so when the lights turn red they can walk up to cars that roll down their windows wanting to drop donations in the collection "bucket". Where I'm from, Volunteer fire stations do this a lot, but they use their fireman boots instead of buckets. I think you have to get a city permit to hold one and I have even heard that in some cities up north they are not permitted. So this might be why not everyone has heard of or seen them before.

I found that very odd also!

And i think the purpose of being on FB was to see what ppl were saying.

And the cute doctor comment kind of hit me the wrong way!

Kind of? ;-) That comment hit me so hard going the wrong way. My wife, being very busy taking care of our children during the day and working hard at night, hasn't been able to stay up with the search so I have been filling her in. She did a double take, seriously, a double take, when I told her that WWH made that comment, while at the hospital, with her dying husband in a bed about 30ft away (my supposition). All she could do was shake her head and say, "Some people".

The cute doctor comment got me. If the "love of my life" was lying in a hospital bed dying, how cute the doctor is would be the LAST thing on my mind! And to post that on FB?!? Really??? :waitasec:
