Personally, I think Zeaux quit posting because he/she felt that some posters were being to hard on the immediate family (Mother, Stepfather, Father, Stepmother). Zeaux made comments about this several times and he/she seem really exasperated. In their last post Zeaux seemed to be saying that they were not coming back.

Hello...I've been following this case, although this is my first post ever, and find it somewhat hopeful that Zeaux has not provided any updates in quite some time. As an insider, perhaps she's been instructed to stay quiet....hopefully, because BW is in hiding as the case unravels.
Also, per BW's facebook page, she has 2 new friends added in July, but she's been missing well before July. Hopefully this is another indication that she's in hiding.

Just my thoughts, maybe I'm being too optimistic, but one always needs to have hope.

I'm hopeful she's alive too, but it may be that she had sent friend requests that were approved by those she was attempting to "friend". She may have sent the requests before she went missing and they just recently approved the requests.

Hopefully Zeaux will come back with more info now that Brittney's brother is under arrest. IMO those who voiced distress about her immediate family had valid concerns.

Brittney deserves whatever it takes, as difficult as that may be.

There were times I really felt sorry for Zeaux. The posts were very informative in a situation clouded with confusion but he/she couldn't explain everything, not surprisingly. IMO it was due to Zeaux that the thread kept going, giving other posters enough insight into the situation so that they* could & did offer helpful ideas and suggestions. I felt I was getting to see some of very many issues in Brittney's life and even though it was only a fraction of it, I don't expect we will ever know enough to make sense of it, it is one of the saddest stories I have ever come across. So sad.

OK... I'm just speculating but what if BW had been helping LE with the investigations... she finds out that her uncles are going to be arrested and went to tell DH. DH kills himself, and BW hides because she felt guilty telling him? This is just all MOO.

I also find it very troubling, complex and confusing.
I can imagine a seriously scared 19 year old, or indeed an adult, going as far away as possible from a threatening situation and not feeling secure enough to return or even make contact. It does stretch the imagination beyond belief and in my opinion the most likely scenario, unfortunately for Brittney, is that something happened to her in the early hours of the morning she disappeared. Moving the search from the Styx River area to Grand Bay due to new information revealed from cell phone records was an unexpected development at the time, IMO based on the information available to the public. Very little news has been published since then.

IMO they killed her because they thought she talked to police or knew something incriminating. hope not but it ain't looking good. absolutely disgusting.

I don't believe this for one second. I have read CW's agonizing pleas on FB about Brittney and if she knows where Brit is then she is one heck of an actor IMO. I just cannot see it.

Also the reason they are telling her she won't be facing charges- Rumor has it (from a very good source, I might add)- is that the gun DH used to commit suicide belonged to Brittney.

All just MOO.

Which would put BW around DH right before the suicide.

I'd say if she was hiding then she would want to have her gun.

Just relying on memory but I think it was established that DH was due to have a meeting with LE the next day so he was already aware of his own situation. Don't know how much more information he had. JMO. It does feel as if the whole issue is connected.

Then jail would be a good place for him to stay. Many homeless would love an air conditioned room with bed and 3 meals a day. All free of charge. :jail:

MOO, When CW pleads for BW to contact her saying she wouldn't be in any trouble could be related to tipping off DH (to go with my speculation). Maybe she's hiding because then they knew she was helping LE and she knew more arrests were going to be made.

I guess I just really hold out hope that BW is still alive so it's not so hard to come up with different scenarios. :/

Isn't that phone call the one made from Brittney to Uncle DH on Wed or Thurs night? That would be between the time she left home and the time she was reported missing.

I have had the same thought. Very doubtful she would willing part with it if she planned to hide, assuming she had one in the first place.

Sadly, I think this will really affect future bucket drives. I do not know who is overseeing the money from these fund raisers, but IMO too many people would wonder if the money is being used for bail instead of searches. Also I thought bond was usually 10% and the brothers bail is $25,000. Wouldn't that mean that his bond was $2500 not $1200??

Well, they raised $1500 last weekend. Hopefully someone is monitoring her search fund.

No doubt in my mind. Even LE alluded that's where her phone pinged and that it was not necessarily her.

This is the most tragic story I have ever read. My mind goes back and forth: Brittney is in hiding and Brittney is a casualty of these sick, sick relatives. I hope LE is following up heavy duty with DH's wife. I read her FB while hubby was dying in the hospital. Trying to break into Brittney's cell phone, the remark about the cute doctor, ad nauseam. What a piece of work.

I feel so helpless waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Many thanks to Zeaux for her insightful knowledge and generosity in sharing Brittney's story. I pray Brittney is at peace, no matter which direction this case goes or where she is.....

I still believe she is dead because she knew to much. A gang of child molesters weren't going to let her talk about what she knew. Donnie just felt unable to escape the hole he was in after she was murdered imo.

And if she brought him the gun she knew to much for sure. You don't bring someone a gun unless they want to kill themselves or someone else given the situation he was in.

Personally, I don't think BW brought the gun to DH so he could kill himself or anyone else.

BW felt safer with that gun and probably carried it in her teal tote bag. She was a tough girl. She had to be tough to survive her environment...now she was running with the drug crowd.

I think DH had her gun because BW no longer needed it. DH was there when something bad happened to BW. He was now in deep deep trouble because of that and his sex abuse investigation. That gun was readily available, so he used it.

Why borrow a low caliber gun from a young girl and expect her to hitch a ride miles to get it to you?

That's my thinking/opinion. And I wish it wasn't. I don't see BW hiding/running without her gun.
